"Ladies and gentlemen we have arrived at the London Airport! Thank you for choosing Visa Airlines, fly with us again!"

I quickly clutched onto my bag and my brother's wrist hurrying from this God forsaken plane. I must've banked out all my luck in America because that flight was hell. It reeked of barf because some kid in first class blew chunks, and I dropped one freaking drink by accident and the flight attendant all the sudden wanted to stab me to death.  The blonde teenage boy I call my brother trotted behind me asking babbling out questions that soon sounded frantic. "Haley, what if they don't know what cotton candy is? What if we're the only people from the U.S? What if they don't understand us!" He stressed, causing his wrist to tighten in my grasp.

"Brandon."

"What?"

"Shut up."

"But what if they think-"

"You sound ridiculous." People were looking at him like he was Micheal Jackson back from the dead. I began to reassure him that yes even though were a little ways from home doesn't mean the people here were some kinds of extraterrestrials. Home was now 4,000 miles away, back in the middle of nowhere, in a state where the bear's natural enemy is a block of cheese. Can you guess where were from yet? Shy City, Chi Town, The Windy City, Second City, City of Broad Shoulders...

Still don't know?

We belong to a place known as Chicago, Illinois. No, we don't have weird accents like in that stupid Geico commercial . We're simple people from the states. But why are we in London?

Well, me and Brandon finally decided to escape from the grasp of our little town. Me being 19 and out high school for about a year now, and Brandon being 18, just having graduated high school felt like having new lives. Why in England? Because our older brother Kyle lives here. So it gave us a place to live and a chance to see him. Kyle moved here for college and decided to stay permanently. I've visited plenty, but Brandon, well, this was his first time even being in another country.

In the beginning it was only supposed to be me coming. I wanted it more than anything. I've been the misfit of my family all my life and I wanted to start new. Make new friends, go to college here as well, or just live differently. I just wanted some excitement in my life.  The most thrill available was the drop on a rollercoaster, but even that only lasted a mere blink of an eye.

A few months after I threw the idea of moving here out Brandon quickly volunteered to tag along. That part took my mother careful persuading but soon worked. And with that me and Brandon were London bound.

As we walked through the puzzle of people I spotted a Starbucks. I grasped Brandon once again nearly dragging him over by his heels. He groaned, "Why are you such a coffee lunatic?"

"It satisfies my white chick needs. You want something?" I said pulling out my wallet walking to the register.

"Nope. I'm going to McDonald's." He murmured walking in the other direction.

I shrugged, "Your loss then." I went silent and began waiting in a line that didn't seem to budge. I peeked over a few heads to see some chick with dark purple hair arguing with the lady at the register.

I began eavesdropping as another barista slowly helped the line dwindle. She fumed at the poor girl behind the counter. "Just give me some damn Whoppers, how the fuck is that so difficult!" The girl shouted, her accent similar to mine.  She probably was American as well. I laughed slightly at her anger about the U.S candy. Here they didn't have the same name brands as us.

I waltzed up behind the plum haired girl and politely butted in. I smiled at the frightened worker, "Why don't you get her some Maltesers."

The girl looked over at me angrily. "I don't want freaking Maltesers!"
