We barely get out of the room for a week. And I don't downplay it when I say he really made up the time we've lost. I should be complaining like crazy, but I'm not. The sex is too fucking addicting to the point I'm sure he's the one who has me wrapped around his finger. Not the other way around.

Fuck. Do I... like him?

I lift my head from the couch we share, feeling his naked body stir behind me. White sheets fall around my waist as I move further to grab water on the coffee table.

I down it quickly in large gulps.

His knuckles over my spine find me before his voice does.

"Do you have plans today?" he questions, thick of sleep. I glance at the time. It's already past noon. We fucked all night and also this morning. My whole body aches in delicious way.

"Probably reading by the pool and drinking lots of wine." I reply, missing the usual bite in my tone.

"Sounds boring." He hums, enjoying the goosebumps over my skin. He knows I'm masking my cool.

"Well, what's your idea of fun?" I say the last word with heavy sarcasm, turning to face him, but he just smirks and pushes my hair over my shoulder.

With eyes on my tits, he replies, "Staying in this room seems fun."

I roll my eyes. Of course, he'd suggest that. "No, thank you."

He raises his eyebrow at that, hand gripping my waist to tug me closer. "Get back here, dolcezza." I comply and back into his arms as he buries his face on my neck.

A cute move for someone like him, but nothing seems to surprise me anymore.

"Marco has been texting." I tell him, reminding him he has life outside this room.

"Mm, I know." He murmurs. "I'll meet him tonight."

"It's about time." I mumble under my breath, but his smile on my skin tells me he heard it. "I think I'm going to go shopping this afternoon. And spa. Ah, it sounds amazing."

"Okay. Take my card."

"Well, if you insist." I say, unimpressed.

He's still smiling. "I do insist."

Two hours later, I finally manage to get out of the room, leaving his sleeping form on the couch. I'm going downstairs with a book from my duffel bag. And because I'm hungry, I stop at the kitchen to eat some lasagna. His chef always killed it, to be honest. They never play around.

With a bottle of wine and a glass in hand, I make my way to the swimming pool area which is shockingly occupied by none other than my brother. He's sitting on sun-bed, phone over his ear, ordering around the other line.

"Hello, stranger." I greet casually, sitting beside him and setting my wine on the side table.

Marco startles and he doesn't cover it well. I can't help but chuckle.

"Oh, long time no see, sister." He replies sarcastically, disconnecting the call at the same time. "Busy days, I gather?"

"As you can see." I shrug, pouring my wine and sipping the familiar taste. Ezio actually has the best collection of liquors. For someone like me, that's a treasure.

"So, what's the news? You're completely tied with him for life, huh?" he wastes no time, of course.

I almost choke at that, quickly gaining my composure. "Oh, it's just a phase. It'll pass."
