Akira felt a flutter of nerves as she approached her first class at Silver Moon Academy. Although her friends seemed to be settling in well, she couldn't shake her anxiety about being alone in such an unfamiliar place.

Just then, a charming boy  approached her.

His striking red hair fell slightly over his forehead, catching the light as he moved. He wore a dark, fitted leather jacket over a simple black shirt that hugged his frame, paired with worn jeans that added a touch of casual cool to his mysterious aura.

"Hey there," he said, his voice low and smooth. "You look like you could use a friend in this place. I'm Lucian."

He leaned against the wall with a casual ease, but there was something in his deep-set eyes that hinted at untold secrets, much like the strange aura that enveloped Silver Moon Academy itself. His eyes were a hint of red and had been glowy at times.

Akira felt an unexpected pull toward him, intrigued by the air of mystery that surrounded him.

"Hi." She smiled holding out a hand.

He shook her hand and she immediately could feel his energy radiating. She did not know what to make of it.

"So, what brings you to Silver Moon Academy?" he asked, his voice smooth and inviting, as if he genuinely wanted to know her story. "It's not every day you see someone look so out of place in a school like this." He tilted his head slightly, studying her with an intensity that made her feel both seen and understood. "What do you think of it so far?"

Did he already know that she was a human? She sighed. "Well I have my reasons but..I don't feel like sharing that. Anywho..I'm guessing we're in the same class together? We should get going that was the second bell already." she quickly walked inside the classroom.

He looked at her strangely. "Odd." He said laughing to himself. He wondered who she was. What she was because she definitely didn't seem like a supernatural being that belonged there.

When she sat down he sat next to her waving. She felt a bit creeped out by him.

"You chose to sit next to me..why?" She asked.

"I don't know. It's probably because I like you." He teased.

Akira rolled her eyes. "Well don't get too comfortable I might not be at the academy for long."

"Well that's a shame." He replied focusing his attention now back to the classroom and the teacher.

She really only wanted to find out the mystery behind her grandpas connection to this place. She needed to find her grandfather. Where in the world was he anyway?

"Hello class." The teacher Mrs Shu says to everyone.

"Welcome."

"I would like everyone to introduce themselves and what kind of species you are."

Akira had been confused on what Mrs shu meant on that. She listened in closely to see what was going on.

First student stood up. "Hi I'm Carmella and im a first time student here! I'm a vampire! It's nice to meet everyone!" She smiles nervously.

Akira thought this had to be a joke. A vampire really? That's what was so mysterious about the school? She didn't start taking this seriously until another student got up.

The student was none other than the same guy who sat beside her.

It was Lucian.

"What's up guys? I'm Lucian! not excited about the class but..I am a fallen angel..well otherwise known as a demon..but id rather not use that term because well you guys know how it is." He laughed jokingly.

Akira could not believe her ears. "Vampires? Fallen Angels? Was I even really awake? Or is this whole thing made up."

It did not feel real.
