A year had passed, and things had changed in ways Akira hadn't anticipated. Her once unfamiliar room had now become a place she could call her own, though it still felt strange at times. As the headmaster, she had grown into the role, but there were moments when she caught herself staring at the large, polished desk in her office, still trying to get used to the weight of the title. She'd spent countless hours working, meeting with her council, and overseeing the new supernaturals as they joined Silvermoon Academy.

It had been hard, no doubt. But it was rewarding too. The academy had grown, buzzing with life as new students, full of potential, flooded the halls.

Akira walked through the halls with her council, Rowan, Renetta, Kael, and Lucian, all busy handing out schedules, dorm assignments, and paperwork to the incoming students. The air was filled with excitement as the newcomers filed in, their eyes wide with the promise of new beginnings.

"This is crazy," Renetta murmured, looking out at the busy courtyard filled with students. "I still remember when we were the new ones, barely understanding how things worked here."

Kael grinned, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, seems like just yesterday we were trying to figure out where the best places to hang out were. Now we're giving the tour."

Lucian laughed, leaning against the wall casually as he handed out a few more papers to a group of students. "I guess we're the 'old-timers' now. Crazy to think about."

Akira stood quietly, watching the students mingle and settle in. She couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over her. It had been a year since she first stood in this very spot, uncertain and overwhelmed, not sure if she was truly ready to lead. Now, watching the academy come to life again, she felt proud. Proud of how far Silvermoon Academy had come—and how far she had come, too.

Rowan noticed Akira's quiet gaze and nudged her lightly. "It's strange, isn't it?" she said softly. "Watching everyone here... knowing that this was once us."

Akira smiled faintly. "Yeah. It's hard to believe it's already been a year."

"I'm so glad to see how far the academy's come," Renetta said, her eyes scanning the busy courtyard. "And to see how much you've grown, Akira. You really are making a difference here."

"Yeah, we all knew you had it in you," Lucian added, giving her a reassuring smile. "You're doing great."

Kael gave a mock bow. "The academy's in good hands, Headmaster."

Akira chuckled softly, a warmth spreading through her at their words. "I couldn't have done it without all of you," she said. "It's not just me—it's all of us. We're making this place better together."

They watched the students chat, find their classes, and settle into their new lives at the academy. It was a familiar scene, but different in all the right ways. Silvermoon Academy was thriving under Akira's leadership, and for the first time, she truly felt like she was where she was meant to be.

And, as they continued to help the students, Akira couldn't shake the thought: they were building something lasting here. This wasn't just a school—it was a community. And she, as its headmaster, was proud to be a part of it.

A year into her role as headmaster, Akira had settled into a routine that balanced the demands of leadership with her personal life. Each day started early, often with meetings with the council to discuss the latest developments at the academy—whether it was new supernatural students enrolling, problems that needed resolving, or plans for upcoming events. Being a headmaster was a full-time job, and there were many moments where Akira found herself working late into the night, poring over paperwork or making sure every student's needs were being met.
