Aera & Heeseung

The morning sun streamed through the thin curtains of the room, casting a soft, warm glow over Aera and Heeseung. They had woken up tangled in each other's arms, a sense of calm washing over them. It felt like, for the first time, nothing was standing in their way. No misunderstandings, no arguments, just them—finally together.

Aera stretched lazily, smiling as she felt Heeseung's arm drape over her waist, pulling her closer. She turned her head to look at him, his eyes still half-closed, his hair messy in a way that made him look effortlessly handsome.

"Good morning," she whispered, her voice soft and content.

Heeseung cracked an eye open, grinning sleepily. "Morning," he murmured, his voice raspy from sleep. He leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Sleep well?"

"Better than I have in a long time," she admitted, snuggling into his chest. She could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat under her cheek, and it brought her a strange sense of comfort.

They stayed like that for a few more minutes, just enjoying the quiet intimacy, neither of them in a hurry to leave the warmth of the bed. But eventually, Heeseung shifted, nudging her playfully.

"Wanna get up and do something? It's a nice day outside," he suggested, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I think we deserve some sun."

Aera couldn't help but smile at his energy. He was like a little kid when he got excited, and it was contagious. She quickly grabbed her bikini and threw it on, tossing a cover-up over it, while Heeseung pulled on his swim trunks and a loose shirt. They both headed out to the pool deck, sunglasses perched on their noses, the breeze tugging at their hair as they found a spot to lounge.

The sun was warm on their skin, the air carrying the scent of saltwater, and for a while, they simply relaxed on the poolside lounge chairs, enjoying the tranquility. Aera had her head leaned back, her sunglasses shielding her eyes from the sun's glare as she soaked in the moment.

Out of nowhere, Aera broke into laughter, her shoulders shaking as she tried to muffle the sound with her hand.

Heeseung turned his head, raising an eyebrow behind his sunglasses as he glanced at her. "What's so funny?" he asked, genuinely puzzled.

She looked at him with a cheeky grin, still trying to suppress her laughter, but it was no use—she burst out laughing again, covering her face with her hands.

Heeseung sat up, taking off his sunglasses and leaning over her, clearly confused now. "Do I have something on my face or something? What the hell are you laughing at?"

Aera finally caught her breath, wiping away the tears from her eyes from laughing so hard. She shook her head, still grinning from ear to ear. "No, no, it's not you... well, kind of. It's just... this whole situation is so funny to me."
