Hot Springs, Warm Feelings

Staring at the gift cards you are holding right now, Tobirama suddenly cleared his throat, taking you out of your zone and said, "What is wrong, princess?" as he dries himself with a towel . He just came out of the bathroom. His damp hair still messy and few water drops falling down to his body. 

"Oh, nothing Tobi. I am just thinking about the place we will be going today," you answered casually.

His eyes glared upon hearing your answer, he gave you a teasing look before talking again. "Excited?" Your eyes threw a sharp look at him, "Of course I am excited. I can finally have a proper vacation. Your brother's level of energy at work makes me crazy, I'm sure it is the same feeling for you."

He laughed at your comments regarding his brother. "I can say that is true. You know my brother well already, princess."

"Huh, will you just drop that princess thing, you can call me by my name." You groaned while telling your request. "I must leave you for a while, I will tell Kira and Mei to prepare our needs for this vacation."

"No need. I already asked them to do that yesterday so we can go earlier. All you need to do is go take a shower and get ready." He handed you a clean towel. As you paved your way to the bathroom, he caught your right hand and pulled you a little holding your waist now, making you bump into his semi naked body, your hands landed on his bare chest, making you smell his fresh scent and breath. You were stunned for a while, this is the first time he did that, but he looks so at ease with the position you two have right now, while you have a thumping heart, nervous and that made you blush. He moved his face near your ear and whispered, "You look beautiful, my wife." You felt warmth flowing all over your body hearing your husband's husky voice. His eyes sparkle with mixed emotions, then his gaze went down your lips which are opened from the shock with how he behaved. He moved his head towards you, aiming to kiss your lips. You did not say anything nor protest with what he plans to do, instead you closed your eyes, waiting for his lips to touch yours. Just as your lips touched, multiple knocks on the door resound around the room, making you too separate immediately. Your body still feel tensed and you feel a bit pissed with the interruption. Tobirama seems to feel the annoyance you felt, smiled at you before talking, "Sorry for that, sweetheart. Go and take a shower, Ill handle whoever it is. We have a lot of time for this thing," grinning at you before heading towards the door. You instantly went to take a bath to cool yourself down and prepare for the vacation trip. 

After few hours of preparation, you and Tobirama are at the veranda already, talking to his brother and Lady Mito. The two talked endless about how the both of you should enjoy this trip and how it will bring you close together and all that. The maids have placed all your luggage in the carriage, which are mostly clothes enough for the trip. When everything was settled, both of you bid them goodbye and headed towards the journey. The place is located at the outskirts of Konoha, where most of the hot springs are located. Lord Hashirama and Lady Mito chose the farthest one to ensure much privacy. On your way, you remained silent, Tobirama is looking outside the carriage window-also thinking while his hand holding yours. His warm grasp feels so comforting, giving you a contented feeling. You feel a bit sleepy so you let out a yawn, making Tobirama's head turn to you in an instant. "You can rest your head on my shoulder and take a nap. We still have half an hour before we reach out destination," he said softly, almost whispering. And so you did, and it feels so good resting your head on his shoulder. 

At the hot spring

The two of you were greeted by the inn's landlady and her helpers. The luggage were carried already to the room where you will be staying. The landlady is in her mid-forties while her workers, which are composed with five younger girls and three middle aged men, formed a line in front of the inn's entrance as their welcome greetings. You noticed the three girls are giggling and whispering things while looking back and forth to your husband. Your brow automatically raised, not with annoyance but with amusement. These girls cannot seem to hide their adoration to Tobirama. I can't blame them anyway, you thought.
