The State Visit

At the empire palace

The imperial guards have been busy the whole day searching for a woman who caused chaos earlier around the palace court. She was reported to have been wielding some kind of a dark magic, luring children as the audience of her magic shows. Citizens who witnessed her display of sorcerous act notified the guards on duty. As soon as she learned she was being watched by the guards, she took her time to flee from being captured and imprisoned in the empire cells. 

Her name is Lyra, she is neither a witch nor a magician. The little show she made earlier was working just as planned. The guards need to capture her in order to infiltrate the empire palace and have an opportunity to talk to the emperor and his wife. This plan was sketched out all the way from the headquarters of your clan- the mages of Eldoria. Throughout the years of circulating rumors of your clan's disappearance, the members of the clan successfully created a hidden village in the heart of the forest, just as where the Dark Shadow was casted out and sealed. The secrecy of your clan has been made sacred throughout that time to protect the power that will defy darkness and evil. Their clan leader, Lady Selene, the eldest mage have gathered all the remaining clan members to dwell inside the hidden village called Lumis for protection and training. The ultimate goal- to form alliance with the empire and convince the princess to train her power within Lumis. The emperor and Lady Astrid might have kept their secret for long but the truth is now revealed to the mages, Princess Isabella is the chosen descendant of the last priestess who defeated and sealed the Dark Shadows. They might have known it for years since the presence of the last priestess' spirit lingers deep in the underground tunnel hidden inside the empire palace. It might have seemed impossible that the princess inherited such power when she was not known to have any relation to the last priestess but as Lyra's clan dig deep to Lady Astrid's family tree through the book of lineage which was now owned by the mages, the possibility increased. There is only one indication to prove it- a unique mark should appear on the princess' palms just as all the previous priestesses had when they reached their twenty-fifth birthday. Lyra's palace spy informed the clan that the princess will have a state visit this week with her husband, the shinobi from the Leaf Village. The informant also told the clan that the princess will have her birthday celebration during her state visit. That will be the best time to see if she is really the chosen one. The book of lineage explains how the previous priestesses and the future ones have connection to each other-they all have Otsutsuki blood. The last priestess, which lived a very long time ago way before Lyra's birth, also has the same bloodline. The book of lineage also explains how the power of the previous priestess enable them to linger their spirit, wandering around to choose a suitable descendant when Mohrwen comes back in flesh. 

As she tried to run from the empire guards with a minimal speed, she was trapped by the edge of the palace's gates, surrounded by the guards.

"I have not done anything evil against any citizens of the empire. I am just simply entertaining the children for a simple magic trick I learned," she declared.

"We are instructed by the Royal knights to capture anyone who poses danger within the walls of the palace. You will be temporarily detained at the palace cells for further interrogation and investigation."

She made a few attempt to get herself free from their grip to ensure they won't be more suspicious of her actions.  The guards escorted Lyra to the prison cells where few more imperial guards are at post. The guards are talking about the arrival of the princess later today. That explains why the palace men and women have been busy preparing for her return since her wedding took place in Konoha. Just as the conversation went on among the guards, they put her behind the bars and instructed to wait for the emperor's verdict on her case.
