AS THE MATCH DREW TO AN END, Midoriya and Uraraka managed to narrowly secure a victory, despite their many injuries and Bakugou's overwhelming strength.
Midoriya had managed to outthink Bakugou, using his quirk strategically rather than relying on brute force, while Uraraka's quick thinking and adaptability with Midoriya's last moment hit abled her to neutralize Iida long enough to achieve their objective.
Yuki, observing the match from the sidelines, couldn't help but be impressed.
'They won... despite all odds.' She respected Midoriya's tenacity even more now, he was stubborn, yet despite his shakyness and recklessness, the victory had still been in his hands.
Whatever personal motives and history he had with Bakugou, it must've driven the boy greatly.
As she stood watching the aftermath, Denki Kaminari nudged her playfully.
"That was insane, right? Midoriya totally went all out!" he said, grinning ear to ear.
Yuki merely nodded with a light smile "Yeah, he fought well," she replied, her tone neutral.
Conversations were one of the very few things she had always struggled in, the rest of her struggles also had to do with dealing with people.
In the back of her mind, though, she knew there was still more to come.
Her own battle had only just begun, and she was determined not to lose focus.
But observing these battles gave her insight into her classmates— and that, in itself, was valuable information for the road ahead.
Now it was time for her own match as they both started heading towards their battlefield in silence.
Denki, however, didn't seem discouraged by her quiet demeanor.
