..in the van as John B drove. Madison felt trapped in the heavy silence. Kiara and Mads still hadn't fully made up, John B was fuming over the secret Mads kept, and JJ was back to acting like she didn't exist.
John b couldn't help but steal glances at his quiet sister beside him.
Finally, he pulled the van to a stop in front of Kildare's Hawks Nest, the meeting spot he and Sarah had agreed on. Pope swung the van door open.
"Hit it, boys! We're goin'. Recon mission." JJ exclaimed as Pope was about to put his feet on the ground.
"Yo, uh...so, uh, I think I'm gonna do this one by myself...tonight." John b stuttered.
As the thunder roared in the distance, everyone sighed, disappointment flooding the van. Kiara rolling her eyes at him.
"Really?" JJ huffed, sitting back down as he fixed his hat.
"What?"
"Nothin', brother."
"Look, I just don't to spook Sarah with the peanut gallery." John b reasoned.
"I just don't understand why we're involving her at all." Kiara spoke as a frown appeared on her lips.
Madison rolled her eyes, barely masking her irritation as Kiara launched into yet another complaint about Sarah Cameron. She was tired of hearing the same rant over and over.
"Kie, we're not involving her, okay?" John B said, sounding stressed. "It's--it's just, uh, like a--a business meeting..."
Madison shot the most diabolical side-eye imaginable. She knew her brother well enough to sense this wasn't just a regular "business meeting".
Glancing over, she caught sight of JJ, who was playfully pretending to give whatever he held in his hand a blowjob. She fought hard to stifle her laughter.
"Look, once we get what we need, we cut her loose, alright? Plus, we need the map." John B reassured.
"Promise me nothings happening between you two." Kiara demanded sternly.
