Taehyung's pov:
Just as the silence was starting to feel awkward, the door opened and Jihyo walked in.
"Hey, what's going on?" she asked, her eyes scanning the room.
Y/N still didn't say a word, but she nodded at Jihyo in greeting.
"Hey, Jihyo," I said, trying to break the tension. "We were just... uh... having a moment."
Jihyo's eyes narrowed. "What kind of moment? And how do BTS members end up in y/n's room" she asked, her voice suspicious.
I hesitated, not sure how to explain. But before I could say anything, Jungkook spoke up.
"We were just apologizing to Y/N for overstepping our boundaries," he said, his voice calm.
Jihyo's expression softened. "Ah, I see," she said.
Y/N nodded again, her eyes still cast downward.
Jihyo's expression turned serious as she glanced around the room. "Guys, I think it's time for you to leave," she said, her voice low and urgent.
"What's wrong?" I asked, feeling a sense of unease.
"It's Y/N's father," Jihyo said, her eyes locked on Y/N's face. "If he sees you all here, it could make things worse for Y/N. He's already... unpredictable. We don't want to trigger anything."
The other members nodded, understanding. We knew that Y/N's father was a sensitive topic, and we didn't want to cause her any more trouble.
"Do you think he even knows who we are?" Jungkook asked, his voice laced with concern. "I mean, we're BTS. We can't just be seen anywhere without causing a scene."
Jihyo's expression turned grim. "That's exactly why you need to leave. If Y/N's father finds out that she's been seen with a group of famous idols, it could be disastrous."
I nodded, feeling a pang of regret. I didn't want to leave Y/N, but I knew it was for the best.
I stood up, but then I knelt back down to Y/N's level, my eyes locked on hers. I took her hand in mine, feeling a sense of nervousness.
"Can I get your number?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
Y/N didn't respond, but she looked at her phone on the table. I followed her gaze and picked up her phone, my heart racing with excitement.
I quickly fed my number into her phone and then sent myself a text, getting her number in the process. The other members looked on, dumbfounded.
"What are you doing, Tae?" Jimin asked, his voice laced with confusion.
I just smiled, feeling a sense of triumph. "Getting her number," I said, winking at Y/N.
Y/N's expression didn't change, but she looked up at me, her eyes sparkling with a hint of amusement.
Jihyo cleared her throat, breaking the tension. "Okay, Taehyung, I think that's enough. You got her number, now let's go."
I nodded, still holding Y/N's hand. I gave it a gentle squeeze, and then I leaned in and kissed the back of her hand, my lips brushing against her soft skin.
"Thank you," I whispered, looking up at her with a smile.
Y/N's eyes fluttered closed, and a faint blush rose to her cheeks. I grinned, feeling a rush of excitement, and then I stood up and followed the other members out of the room.
