Y/n's pov:
As I walked into my cozy living room, I let out a deep sigh, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves about tomorrow's meeting with Taehyung. I flopped onto the couch, pulling out my phone to call Jihyo
"Hey Jihyo! I'm freaking out about tomorrow," I typed.
My phone buzzed almost immediately.
"Hey! What's wrong? You're not having second thoughts, are you?" Jihyo replied.
"No, it's just... what if I mess up? Or what if ...
"... He finds out all the crazy thoughts I've been having about him?" I finished, my voice barely above a whisper, as I glanced around nervously to make sure no one was listening.
Jihyo's laughter echoed through the phone, making me feel a mix of relief and embarrassment. "Oh, girl, you're really worried about this, aren't you?" she asked, her tone teasing but also reassuring.
"I know it sounds ridiculous, but what if he thinks I'm some kind of crazy stalker fan?" I whispered, my anxiety spiking at the thought.
"First of all, you're not crazy," Jihyo said firmly. "You're just enthusiastically invested in your fandom. And secondly, Taehyung's not going to think that. He's probably seen worse fan art, trust me."
I giggled despite myself. "That's not the point! The point is, he has my diary, Jihyo. All my deepest, darkest thoughts are in there. What if he reads it and thinks I'm insane?"
"Okay, okay, let's think this through," Jihyo said, her voice turning serious. "Even if Taehyung does read your diary - which, let's be real, he's probably too busy being an idol to bother - what's the worst that could happen?"
I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "He could expose me on social media, or worse, think I'm some kind of obsessive fan and get a restraining order."
Jihyo snorted. "Girl, you watch too many K-dramas. Taehyung's not going to do that. And even if he did, you're not hurting anyone with your thoughts. They're just... enthusiastic daydreams."
I sighed, feeling a tiny bit better. "You're right. I just need to calm down and hope he doesn't read it."
"Exactly," Jihyo said. "And if the worst comes to worst, we'll deal with it together, okay?"
"Thanks, Jihyo," I said, smiling into the phone. "You're the best."
"Anytime, girl," Jihyo replied. "Now go get some sleep and stop worrying about Taehyung reading your diary. He's probably too busy being gorgeous to care about."
"I wish I could relax... Do you think I should wear something professional or keep it casual?" I asked.
"Hmm, go for something in between. You want to make a good impression, but also show your personality. How about that new outfit we picked out last weekend?" Jihyo suggested.
"Perfect! I'll wear that. Thanks, Jihyo, you're the best!" I exclaimed.
"Anytime, Y/n," Jihyo replied over the phone.
"Wait, are you not coming with me tomorrow?" I asked, a hint of concern creeping into my voice.
There was a brief pause before Jihyo responded, "I wish I could, Y/n, but I don't think that's a good idea."
"Why not? You've been helping me prepare for this," I pressed, confusion etched in my tone.
"Hey, remember that time we skipped college and bumped into your Uncle Kwan?" Jihyo's voice was tinged with nostalgia and a hint of wariness.
