Taehyung 's pov
(In the practice room)
"Why didn't you return her diary, Tae?" Namjoon hyung asked, confused.
"I haven't finished reading it, hyung," I replied, lost in thought.
"It's bad manners to read someone else's diary, Tae!" Yoongi hyung exclaimed, frustration etched in his voice, as if I was reading his own diary.
"I think she must be looking for it right now," J-Hope hyung interjected, his tone filled with concern for her.
"I'll return it soon, hyung," I said, still absorbed in thought.
"When?" Namjoon hyung pressed, his brow furrowed.
"Soon, hyung," I repeated, evading eye contact.
Yoongi hyung shook his head. "Tae, this isn't right. You're invading her privacy."
J-Hope hyung placed a calming hand on Yoongi's shoulder. "Let's not jump to conclusions. Tae, what drew you to her diary?"
I hesitated before answering, "Her thoughts... they resonate with me."
Jimin chimed in, curiosity sparkling in his eyes, "Resonate? What do you mean?"
V leaned against the wall, intrigued. "Yeah, Tae, tell us."
Jin, always the jokester, quipped, "Maybe Tae's found his soulmate!"
The room fell silent, awaiting my response.
"Her words, her feelings... they feel familiar," I explained, searching for the right words. "Like I've experienced them before, but couldn't put them into words."
Namjoon hyung's expression softened. "You mean it's relatable?"
I nodded. "Exactly. Her struggles, her passions... it's like looking into a mirror."
Yoongi hyung's frustration eased, replaced by curiosity. "What specific parts resonated with you, Tae?"
I hesitated, unsure how much to share. "Her dreams, her fears... and the way she sees the world."
J-Hope hyung's eyes lit up. "That's beautiful, Tae. You're connecting with her on a deeper level."
Jimin asked, "Do you think she'd be okay with you reading her diary?"
Jungkook chimed in, "And what if she finds out?"
The room fell silent again, awaiting my response.
"Finds out that I've been reading her diary?" I finished for jungkook.
Jin's eyes widened. "That's a recipe for disaster!"
Yoongi hyung cautioned, "Tae, consider the consequences. She might feel betrayed."
Namjoon hyung countered, "But what if she understands? What if she feels the same connection?"
J-Hope hyung nodded. "We should focus on returning the diary, not speculating."
Jimin asked, "How will you return it without revealing yourself?"
Jungkook suggested, "Leave it somewhere she'll find it."
I sighed, weighing my options. "I'll figure it out."
Suga, quiet until now, spoke up, "Tae, be cautious. This could get complicated."
The room fell silent, each member lost in thought.
"I'm not interested in her or anything," I clarified, holding up my hands. "I just want to finish reading her diary."
