────୨ৎ──── Y/N's POVThat summer was over in the blink of an eye. It had been the best summer of my life, after all, I was now Satoru Gojo's girlfriend. Being his best friend was already amazing, but now I was his girlfriend; and it felt really good.
We were about 4 months into our second year at Jujutsu High, a vital year for most sorcerers. Me and Satoru were going really strong.
For the past half an hour, Satoru and I had been arguing over whether or not cats or dogs were better. I stood with dogs, while he believed cats were better. It was a silly argument, we weren't actually mad at each other.
"Fine, I guess we'll have to get both a cat and a dog when we're older." Satoru declared. He was so cute, finding ways to compromise for both of our preferences. I really could see myself marrying this man.
"No special treatment though, they should be loved equally!" I insisted, until I heard a voice from afar.
"Looky here, it's the love birds!" Shoko announced as her and Suguru walked up to the bench me and Satoru were sitting at.
"Fun's over you two, training starts in ten minutes. You know how Sensei Yaga gets when we're late." Suguru stated while we got up from the bench.Although me and Satoru constantly craved to be with each other every waking moment, we still had to recognise the fact that we were training to become jujutsu sorcerers. There were plenty of cursed spirits in the world, hurting innocent people and we were the ones who needed to save them. Even though we didn't choose this life, at least me and Satoru didn't; it was still something we were passionate about.
The four of us walked together to the sports area where Sensei Yaga waited for us.
"Good morning, you guys. Today I'm gonna put you three up against each other to see where you're at in your combat skills. While Shoko's going to practice her Reverse Cursed Technique on your injuries." Sensei Yaga announced. "We're gonna have Suguru up against Satoru first, and then Satoru up against Y/N." he explained.
Satoru had gotten much stronger since our first year. He learned how to use this thing called Infinity with his Limitless Technique. It basically meant he was untouchable, therefore making him really strong in combat. Honestly, I was a little bit jealous that things came to him so easily. I mean all four of us were really strong, but he was by far the strongest.
Suguru and Satoru's battle was intense. It went on for a good amount of time, but Satoru eventually managed to pin Suguru down. It wasn't surprising, Satoru was the strongest after all.
But that also meant it was my turn to fight him. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared. I had gotten much stronger too: I had almost fully mastered my Blood Manipulation technique and I was constantly learning new tricks with my Timeless technique. But despite all that, I was still not as strong as him. To be honest, I wish it didn't bother me that he was always going to be better, but it did. In that way, I envied him.
"Don't hold back on me just because we're dating." I said as I looked him in the eyes. I knew how to separate our love life from the fact that we were sorcerers. I never held back when we trained and I didn't want him to hold back either.
"You sure about that, princess?" He taunted.
"Positive." I said as I gathered blood shooting it straight at him, in which he dodged effortlessly. I needed to move faster, match his speed.
But it was getting repetitive, I'd keep on attacking him and he'd keep on dodging. He already gotten a few hits on me, while he remained unscathed. I took a deep breath, slowly getting tired from chasing him around. I gathered my blood and separated it into lots of tiny, hard arrows, aiming it all at Satoru and the vicinity.
