"I have an important mission for you three." Sensei Yaga informed me, Satoru, and Suguru.

"What about Shoko?" I asked, not wanting to do it without her.

"Y/N, you should know this by now, she can't come along because her abilities are just far too valuable to lose." Yaga explained.

I pouted as I crossed my arms. It would've been nice to go on a mission with all of my best friends again.

"What's the mission, Sensei?" Suguru questioned.

"Well, I'm sure you guys are aware of this, but every 500 years Master Tengen needs to merge with a compatible Star Plasma Vessel; and it's that time again." our teacher explained once again. "She's a girl called Riko Amanai and I need you three to safely escort her to Master Tengen for this merge." he stated.

"Sounds easy!" Satoru commented.

"This mission is vital to the jujutsu world, this merge needs to happen in order to continue Master Tengen's barrier techniques. I need you guys bring this girl to Tengen alive and well." Sensei Yaga sternly declared.

I nodded my head to display my understanding of this mission's importance.

"Godspeed, you three." Yaga wished as we exited his office.

"Sounds like we might have some fun on this trip!" Satoru exclaimed.

I shot him a glare. "Toru, don't even. I feel bad for this girl.. it seems like she's been prepared to just disappear her whole life." I sympathised with the girl I'd never met before.

"If we don't do this, the jujutsu world will be jeopardised." Suguru stated.

"Yeah.." I sighed.

The following day, the three of us headed to go find Riko. Once we arrived at her hotel, the minute we stepped out of the car, there was an explosion above.

A girl had seemed to be falling from the sky. In that moment, Suguru quickly reacted, catching the unconscious girl by using one of his cursed spirits that could fly. The girl turned out to be Riko.

Her location had been leaked and now people were targeting her. People who didn't want this merge to happen. This mission wasn't going to be as easy as we thought.

While, Suguru brought the girl to safety, Gojo and I sought to take down the people who were responsible for the explosion. And effortlessly, we did so.

A few hours later, the three of us along with the girl's guardian, Misato Kuroi, were waiting for Riko to regain consciousness.

Gojo was carrying her unconscious body when she suddenly woke up and slapped him. "You jerk! If you want to kill someone so badly start with yourself!" the young girl shouted as she jumped out of his arms.

"Hey, Riko, don't worry we're not here to hurt you." Suguru stated as he tried to smile.

"Liar! You look like a liar!" Riko shouted. "And what's with those bangs?" she insulted Suguru's hair.

With that, the two guys grabbed her arms and legs and suspended her in the air to keep her from hurting any of us.

"My lady! They are here to help us, please calm down!" Misato explained.

"Kuroi!" the girl's expression instantly changed after seeing her guardian.

As they let go of her, Gojo suddenly asked "Aren't you supposed to be sad about this merger thing?"
