────୨ৎ──── Y/N's POVFor the past two weeks, we've all been on edge. School was even cancelled this week due to the 24th of December coming up. Today was that day, the day Suguru prepared to bring in a new age.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I traced my fingers along my dark circles. They'd formed due to the fact that I'd gotten no sleep last night. Partly because I stayed at Satoru's place and partly because I couldn't get my mind off of the situation at hand.
Suddenly a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist. "Couldn't sleep last night, huh?" Satoru gently whispered into my ears. "I guess I'm the one to blame for that" he smirked.
I lightly slapped his hand, giggling at his comment. "Jerk-face" I rolled my eyes at his reflection in the mirror.
"You know you love this jerk-face~" he teased, kissing my cheek. "Anyway, you ready to go love?" he asked, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Yup." I replied. The both of us were going to Shinjuku; one of the locations Suguru said he was going to releases a legion of curses at. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared, I mean who knew what tricks Suguru had up his sleeve? After all, he did manage to attain the special grade rank before he left.
Once we arrived to Shinjuku, we saw two figures standing on the roof of a building. A dark-skinned man in a fancy white outfit along with a caped woman beside him.
"That guy looks like he's going to be a pain in the ass." said Satoru, looking up to the rooftop.
"Yeah." I agreed with him. He had an aura of confidence that made him seem like he knew how to put up a good fight.
"Gojo!" Ijichi ran towards Satoru. "I've got something to tell you." he stated.
"What's up?" Satoru turned to Ijichi.
"It's about your request regarding Okkotsu" Ijichi informed him. Satoru raised an eyebrow, intrigued. Ijichi then whispered something to him that I couldn't quite catch,
"Toge! Panda! I'm sending you both to Jujutsu High! No questions." Satoru immediately dragged the both of them, forming a circle around the two student in order to send them off with his teleportation technique.
"Geto is at Jujutsu High, for sure! Maybe.. definitely!" he continued to draw the circle. My eyes widened at his statement. "If I'm right—Maki and Yuta will die!" Satoru ended, successfully teleporting the two.
Maki and Yuta had stayed behind at the campus... Suguru lied? Was this his plan all along? To isolate Yuta... in order to steal.. Rika? Shit. That would be catastrophic.
The air is thick with tension as I stand beside Satoru, feeling my cursed energy pulsing with each heartbeat. Across from us, the dark-skinned man gripped his black rope, his eyes sharp and calculating. I know he's not taking us lightly—Satoru alone is intimidating enough, but he knows I won't be an easy fight either. My blood manipulation stirs beneath my skin, ready and waiting.
"Hello, special grades. I'm your opponent, Miguel." the man announces to the both of us.
Miguel makes the first move, swinging his black rope to close in on Satoru, hoping to suppress his Limitless technique. But I'm quicker, raising my hand and flicking my fingers, releasing a whip-thin line of blood through the air. The blood hardens as it slices toward him, clashing with his rope and forcing him to retreat. I see the frustration flash in his eyes—he wasn't expecting me to react so quickly.
