Dear Noah,
By the time you find my note and start reading, it will be too late. I’m sorry for ending things between us like this. When you came into my life, it felt like a miracle. I can never forget the first day I saw you in the classroom; I couldn’t take my eyes off you. You mean the world to me. You made me feel like I’m worth something, and I’m so grateful for that.
But I can’t keep pretending. I’m broken, and I don’t want to drag you down with me. You deserve someone who can love you fully and without fear. I wish it could be me, but I can’t be the person you need.
Please forgive me for breaking your heart. I hope you find happiness, even if it’s not with me. I’ll carry our memories with me forever.

Noah crumpled the letter written by Mia and yelled in anger. “How could you do this to me?” He felt a surge of emotions—a mix of betrayal and heartbreak. “I will find you and make sure you regret leaving me like this, Mia.”
“I will find you, Mia.” He laughed, a dark sound filled with rage and sadness. “And then it will be just you and me.”
With that promise echoing in his mind, he stormed out into the rain, heart pounding.
