Loopers part 1

Chapter 4

Catalyst treks up the hill as they got away from the storm, with the rest of the group catching up. Brite finally catches up to them trying to catch her breath.

"Will you all- Please! Slow down?"

"You have to adapt to the loop one way or another." Drift replying back.

"Well what are we running from anyways-"

As she turns around, she sees a giant blue wall that looks holographic as if it were fake. With the wall, seemingly stretching up to space.

"What is that?"

"That's what we told you about." Catalyst then walks up and points at it. "That right there, you don't wanna be in it!"

"Okay...?"

"Also please don't do anything stupid while you're with us-"

"Cat." Drift replying to Catalyst

"I know you're leading the charge for now but, don't talk to her like that."

"Ugh. Fine."

Raven then points in a direction they could head out to, with her pulling out a map of her own, pointing a location named loot lake. Catalyst thinks for a second and responded to Raven. "I don't know, it's a bit hard to walk through the water."

Raven tries to imitate something with her arms, trying to communicate on a better way to travel through the waters of loot lake.

"So you're saying swim?" Brite replied, with Raven nodding yes in an excited expression.

"Raven. I hate to say it, but we have to keep track of our objective." Said Drift

Raven then changes to a sad expression, with Brite patting her on the back.

"Hey, it's okay. Wait. What do you mean by objective?"

"I mean on escaping the loop with all of us instead of one of us."

"Wait wait wait. I'm still confused on this loop thing."

Catalyst sighs once again and then proceeds to explain her the basic rules of the game.

"Okay, we're all on an island, we're all forced to fight each other. However, to win, you need to be the last person standing. To make this process faster in a 20 minute match, there's an acid storm that closes in all players to get closer and closer."

"That sounds..... Complicated."

"You'll understand it eventually."

"What's the IO trying to even achieve by this?"

Drift then joins in the explanation. "Who knows, there are many conspiracies on the island what's even the IO's goal. Hell, even the organization itself as its very obscure."

"Okay then. Where do we go from here?"

Drift then asked Catalyst, "Cat?"

"Wailing woods, near the corner of the map."

"Alright, let's get going then."

Raven then responded with both thumbs up. They begin to walk together towards wailing woods, as they pass through a small mountain, and countless rocks and trees.

"Waaait. You never told us your name!"

"You didn't thought of that until now? That's funny. It's... Brite Bomber by the way."

"Oh, interesting. Wonder why they named you that?"

"I dunno"

Catalyst then joins in the conversation. "So you're a bright person?"

"What does that even mean?"

"I'm guessing innocence or something? I'm just thinking along the lines of that."

As they were walking, we see a small sniper glint as a man was spying on them, hidden in the trees with a few other knight armored players. Having the same black armor, red paint splattered as Brite saw before her second match.
