Down the hall to the final flights of stairs, they walked confidently to the zero point. Most of them bantering and commenting over their experiences together. Here it is, they finally arrived the very bottom of the high tech hole Catalyst described the bridge as.
"Sector Z... Feels surreal being down here." Said Catalyst.
"Couldn't agree more. Never been down here before, despite never seeing the outside surface in my entire life..." Commented the Neko in awe.
"Well? The room of the zero point is right there! Don't keep on anticipating!"
"Alex wait, Calley might be right about the guards!"
It was too late though as she walked through the automatic iron doors. Revealing an entire army of a firing squad in front of them, a closed hole of where supposedly the zero point is, with purple panels circling around the area. It's a large circular structure the room with the ceiling being made of tiles of glass and metal, revealing a deep ocean view. Making the illusion that the entire room seems bigger than it actually is. There was a control tower above them, most likely there for zero point controls and other security measures, however there are a few employees and guards there. One guard that had the appearance of seemingly a superior ranked soldier judging from him wearing a cap instead of a hood and having general like uniform, stepped out of the crowd and turns on a megaphone, to put it close to his gas mask. The guard started speaking into the megaphone...
"We have seen your actions throughout the bridge, and it has come to our attention that all seven of you have been reckless and violated multiple laws of the imagined order. But I'm here today from the words of president Geno himself to give you all an opportunity instead of execution! If you drop your guns now and come forward in peace to surrender, we'll guarantee that you'll be free from the loop without having to win! If you don't comply with this request from us, we have the order to use lethal force. This also applies if you refuse to comply dropping your firearms. Are we clear?"
"They're lying." Said Calley quietly.
"If you don't respond in the next 120 seconds, we will proceed with the order!"
Raven then remembered that she kept two shockwave grenades in her pocket, and puts one hand in one of them.
"I repeat! If you don't respond in the next 120 seconds, we will sho-"
Raven makes a wink at them with her tongue out, for her to pull out the grenade and slam it to the ground in between them. Launching the two opposing teams across the room, with multiple guards becoming disoriented after they crashed to the ground. The general orders the guards to fire upon the rebellious group, with the cast firing back at them. Although Calley just simply rushed in and started to blast them close range, with her using her tomahawk in a few situations. Catalyst moved constantly, mostly shoot, then take cover, then move. Brite tried really hard through the fire fight to only stun soldiers instead of kill, she counted how many shots she fired at the troops. Nezumi was throwing guards at random with his telekinesis, with him first disarming them, or making them float in the air unable to fire, with him dealing with another guard. Drift and Raven slid around to cover to cover, trying to make the enemies lose their aim, until shooting where it paralyzes them temporarily. The cat girl however was hiding in a box, watching through a hole in amazement on the people she's with, overpowering the men who has tortured her all through her life. Until one guard found her, but Nezumi in the neck of time saved her by throwing him hard and knocking him out on the wall.
"I'm out!" Shouted Catalyst.
"What ammo type you need?!" Called out Drift.
"Hold on I got a second axe! Catch!"
