Loopers part 1

Chapter 10

We see Brite trembling through the hot sands, cactuses, rocks, and other terrain throughout the scenery. She was drinking her last shield potion and bandaging herself. It took a long while for her to spot the cafe till she finally spotted it off the blurry distance with the road leading from paradise palms all the way near out of the desert. She stepped through the door of the butter barn, to be greeted to a log like cabin structure, with a person made out of pancakes dressed in cowboy attire who's glitching in and out, looking to be sleeping on the counter as she walked in, with the music of the restaurant playing country music with the words "come on down to butter barn" On loop. As she almost collapses and looked for somewhere to sit, she saw the rest of the team already sitting and eating pancakes, as the three of them look as Brite as she looked like she gone through hell. She pulls up a chair to the table, sweating, and barely catching breath.

"If anyone plans to land at Paradise Palms.... NEVER! EVER! Go there!"

"Noted." Said Catalyst

Brite takes a moment to calm down from intense fight she had, as she calmed down, she noticed both Drift and Cat having their masks partially removed.

"What happened to the whole we say about if we stay in the loop, the mask stays on?"

"Eh. Don't worry about it, we're already prepared enough for the bunker."

"If you say so. But if we die again, and you forget anything. I take the blame on you!"

"Hm, alright then. Also by the way, how many attempts have we done this plan?" Said Drift.

Raven then lifts her hands and holds up 10 fingers.

"Oof, yeah I think Brite was right about probably sticking together."

"Would've been better if we noticed how many times we looped earlier," replied Catalyst, then going back to eating.

The rest of the squad stayed silent as Raven and Brite wait for the two fox siblings to finish their food. Out of boredom, Brite then asks a question to them.

"A thing to comment on... So if you know stuff about the IO and the people who cheated the game before... Can you tell me about the cheaters?"

Catalyst stopped eating to talk to Brite, "well, all I know is there's only seven people who broke the ga-"

"Seven? SEVEN?"

The group heard shouting from the counter by the pancake man who recently woke up from his nap.

Brite then questioned again, "who's that?"

Drift said; "oh that's just Mancake, he's in fact the guy who made us these pancakes!"

Brite thought for a moment, "wait wouldn't that be cannibalism-"

"No need to worry about that honey!" Said Mancake, he continues to talk about the seven

"But about the seven.... Technically there weren't seven people who escaped, more like three. The other four were already outside the loop, they were the ones who chose the four loopers for a reason. I even heard. All four of them got 50 kills added up in one match I heard. They do the most vile things to kill players, I even heard it's fun to them. The only description I have of what they look like is that they look like astronauts, but it's more of a sinister look than anything. Rumors tell that they'll take the island for themselves from the IO... And being once a witness of them from my  real self... It's terrifying on what they could do..."

"Wow... So then who's the real bad guy in this entire world we're stuck in?" Said Brite

"I honestly dunno. But I can bet you one thing. Don't trust any of them."

"Well this has turned into a dark conversation real fast," Replied Catalyst.

"I know this is off topic but, Raven do you know where's the next safe zone?"

Raven then pulls out a tracker device to tell if they are within the zone, only for it to glitch out for no reason. She then shows the glitching on the screen to Drift, but they do hear thunderstorms coming close to them really fast.

Mancake looked out the window, "what in tarnation-" were the words he said before they all are consumed by the storm.

"Welp. We gotta get going!"
