Connie groaned and pushed up on his bed. Light was streaming in through his window. He glanced at the clock. 6:59 am glowed in blue.
He flopped back on his bed, sleeping that one last minute out.
As his alarm beeped, he yawned as he sat up and snoozed it.
Blinking his eyes open, he stood up and stumbled to his closet to get changed for the day.

Sasha woke up a bit differently. Her new dog zoomed into her room and jumped onto her back. She laughed tiredly as she turned and ruffled his fur.
"Toto, get outta here," she told the dog, who only licked her awake. She laughed and sat up, stretching out her arms as Toto jumped off her bed.
Smiling to herself, she got up and got ready for school.~~~~~~~~~
Sasha blinked as she walked to Armin, who was at his locker, preparing for first hour. "Armin?"
He blinked over to her, giving one of his famous smiles. "Hey, Sasha."
"Where's Jean?" Sasha asked, looking around the almost-empty halls. Armin shrugged. "He texted around three this morning telling me that he'd be late today."
Sasha nodded. "Oh. I was kinda worried. He's always by your side between classes," she explained. Armin chuckled.
"We'd better be getting to class," he said, walking in the direction of his first class. Sasha grinned. "Right. See ya!"
Armin didn't look back, but slightly waved over his shoulder. Sasha jogged through the long hall, heading outside, where they (her class) were informed to go after breakfast.
She made it outside, walking over to her classmates through the crisp morning air. She exhaled slowly, trying not to yawn.
"Oi, Sasha!" Reiner called, his hand in the air to grab her attention. She chuckled as she made her way over to him.
"Have you seen Bertl?" he asked once she was by him. She shook her head. "Nope. Why?"
Reiner sighed through his nose, obviously concerned. "He never misses a day. I haven't heard from him since Tuesday, so it's been three days. This is not like him at all."
Sasha laughed. "Don't worry! He can't always be the perfect student!"
Reiner smirked, "Try telling him that," he told her.
As Sasha laughed, their teacher, Ms. Ral (although everyone just called her Petra) was walking briskly over the dew-covered grass. She cleared her throat, grabbing everyone's attention.
"Everyone here?" she started per usual before taking attendance. After she did so, she smiled widely, bruising some of her light red hair behind her ear.
"Is anyone curious as to why we're outside today?" she asked the crowd of her students, and got a bunch of muttered "yeah"s in reply.
She bounced in place excitedly, her hands clasped together in front of her chest. "We're having a party..."
Sasha perked up. Can this actually mean..."Are you serious, Petra?!"
Petra squealed. "Yes!! He proposed!!!"
Everyone cheered happily. The whole class was waiting for Mr. Ackerman to propose to her, as it was clear that he loved her. A lot.
Petra had promised her class a few months back that if he ever did propose, they would get the day off to have a party and just relax.
This doesn't happen often. Although Petra was a very nice teacher, she's one of those; "super-nice-but-can-seriously-fuck-you-up" kind of teachers. Some of the students *ahem*JeanandEren*ahem* have learned this when she was subbing for their classes.
"Alright everyone!" Petra exclaimed, "We need to get our party things! And, march!" she pointed to the cafeteria while she yelled 'march'. Everyone had bought snacks and drinks beforehand, knowing that Levi would propose soon.
While the rest of her class laughed and dramatically marched to the cafeteria, Sasha stayed behind to talk to Petra.
"Hey, Petra?" she asked timidly.
"Yes, Sasha?" Petra responded kindly.
"Would it be alright if I invited my friend for the day?"
"Connie?"
"Yeah..."
Petra smiled brightly at her. "Of course! He's always welcome! Just tell Erwin that I requested him, okay?"
Sasha smiled and thanked her before rushing off in the direction of Connie's class.
She stopped outside of Erwin's door, composing herself before knocking twice and opening the door.
Since it was a Friday, Erwin doesn't give out assignments. So most of his class was asleep, some on their phones. Except for Armin, who was reading contently.
"Mr. Smith?" Sasha asked, getting his attention. The whole school knows that to get your way with Erwin, you have to have respect.
He looked up from his book, peering over the top of his shoes, since he had rested his feet on his desk casually. He hummed in acknowledgement for her to continue.
"Ms. Ral was requesting Connie." Sasha told him.
"For how long?"
"All day," Sasha informed. Erwin shrugged. "Sure."
Sasha grinned and turned, rolling her eyes as she seen Connie sleeping peacefully on his desk. Not for long...
She started walking slowly and quietly to his desk, catching the attention of everyone awake. Even Armin, who grinned.
"Psst," the blonde whispered. When Sasha looked at him, he moved his hands out in a pushing motion, making Sasha grin and wink at him knowingly.
She moved behind Connie's chair, waiting a moment to make sure he was still asleep. Everyone that wasn't sleeping was watching, even Erwin, who was looking amused.
Sasha help up three fingers, putting one down for each second until the third vanished. She took a quiet deep breath before pushing and shaking Connie. "Connie!!!"
The male jerked awake, making random noises as he took in his surroundings, altered from being woke up so quickly.
Sasha snickered before laughing loudly with the rest of his class, making Connie send glares around the room.
"C'mon, sleepyhead," Sasha teased, grabbing his arm and pulling him up. He groaned and allowed her to drag him, sticking his tongue out to the still-laughing class.
