Prepare for a horrible chapter btw
((Long time no see, huh? I get random moments where I feel like writing to some of these old (rather crappy) stories so there's an explanation. And I know a lot of you would prefer JeanMarco over Jearmin but just deal with me here, I was in a huge phase for Jearmin when I was writing this and I don't plan on changing it now. Though I do love both ships equally, honestly.
This should be the last chapter. I wanted to go ahead and finish this, and on one of those cliché happy ending type things. Y'know, the one where the guy gets the girl and that's the end? Yeah, this chapter isn't gonna be that long.
Also, a thank you to the people who still read this <3))
"Ah! Dude, shut up!" Connie hissed when he seen Sasha approaching. He fidgeted in many different positions to look natural, but failed due to being immensely flustered still. Sasha gave him a weird look, mostly to be a tease.
"Something up?" she asked casually, though it was very obvious she was dying to be let in on the details of their conversation.
"Pfft, what? Something up? No, no, nothing's up, but... They still fly blimps?" Connie asked, momentarily distracted as he actually looked up and seen the object. The other two with him looked up as well, with Sasha laughing at the comical timing to it. Shaking her head in amusement, she then turned to Jean. "You have something you're not telling me." she said, arching an eyebrow.
"Actually, Connie has some things that will definitely be more interesting than what I have." Jean changed the attention from himself to the shorter male, who gasped at being betrayed in a way.
"You jerk!" Connie exclaimed, slapping Jean's arm. The male snickered and rolled his eyes, offering a playful 'good luck' to the duo before giving dramatic finger guns and making his leave back to the water.
"Okay dude, spill." Sasha demanded once she turned back to her best friend. Connie tensed nervously for a second, unable to form words. He made small attempts, coming out as embarrassing high pitches of air. Giving up, he raised his shoulders with wide eyes in a helpless shrug.
Sasha blinked, giving a little sigh before an exasperated laugh. "Connie, there's something wrong and it's obviously got something to do with me. Let me guess. You like me."
Connie completely froze this time, his already wide eyes enlarging farther. He couldn't hear much other than his nervous quickened pace of his heart, knowing it was causing his cheeks to flush darkly. Sasha had said it so seriously, Connie wasn't able to tell how she felt about it. During this time, Sasha jumped a little, holding a hand to her mouth.
"Oh, is that seriously it..?!" she asked, her own blush appearing. "Connie, I was teasing! Oh..." she trailed off, her hand still covering her mouth. Her gaze dropped to the ground, and once again Connie felt an emotional tightening in his chest at how cute she looked with her blush.
"Aw... Connie, really...?" Sasha asked quietly, looking back up at the male. Connie swallowed dryly and nodded after a moment, figuring it couldn't stay a secret forever. The brunet blushed darker at the confirmation, a shy smile playing at her lips. "Well... I guess it's worth a try..." she began, scuffing the ground a little with her foot. "I mean, you can't get any worse, right?"
Connie deadpanned playfully, feeling considerably lighter and giddier at her words. His façade dropped when Sasha moved forward, wrapping her arms around his neck to hug him. Now grinning brightly, Connie returned the embrace, his heart skipping a beat from the realization that they were now a couple. Looking up, he seen Jean and Armin watching with amused expressions in the water. Lifting a hand a little to give them a thumbs up, Connie couldn't help but laugh a little when the couple smirked smugly, sneaking a fistbump over the surface of the water.
//And then they grew up and got married and had children and the end
This is the best you're getting outta me XD
