"You've kept the name... I'm so glad."
I just stare at the woman a bit confused. "I apologize, but I have no idea what you're on about. I do not know you."
"I know..."
"?"
"You...pig..." The dust settles to reveal the man struggling to get up from the pile of rubble.
"Pig? Oh, right. You were blabbering about nobles and pigs earlier, right? Well then," I ready my zanpakuto, "how did the power of an actual noble felt just now?"
The Bount man swings his arms, and some nearby pipes turn into snakes. They strike towards me with such speed. However, with one swing of my blade, I managed to cut them in half. The revert back to their original state in an instant, displeasing the man.
"Is that it?" I asked.
"Tsk! You-"
"Ryo!" The man looks towards the Bount woman. "I'll go with you! Just...leave her be."
"?"
"...Very well. Fried!" His main snake pet brings the woman to his arms. He takes her and takes off, leaving the four of us behind.
"..." I get ready to follow him.
"Emiko! Don't! That's dangerous!"
I look back at the stuffed bird. "If we let them get away now, we won't be able to track them back to their lair."
"Ririn's right. Let's let them go for now. Besides, you can't properly use your zanpakuto right now. What happens if something were to-" Ichigo gets interrupted with the sound of our swords clashing together. I managed to use my power to throw him into metal shipping container, denting it in the process. "Ugh... What the hell was that?!"
"Don't ever keep secrets from me again." I glare at him. "I may not know how to use my zanpakuto correctly as of now, but don't forget. I'm supposed to be way stronger than you. I can handle myself."
"..."
"..."
"Oof!"
We all turn around to find Chad helping Orihime to her feet. Ichigo gets up and approaches the two. "Orihime. Chad...what are you guys doing here?"
"That guy just now..." Chad spoke up.
"? Do you know him?"
"Just a while ago-"
"Rukia!!!" Kon suddenly jumps from Chad's shoulder and launches himself towards poor Rukia. "The never-before explored great 180-degree great cliff, that I have but dreamed of, is right before my eyes... This will be my first climb-"
Rukia crushes the perverted lion under her foot. "What do you mean, "great cliff" huh?!"
"R-Rukia!!"
"Rukia! Welcome back!" Orihime traps her in a hug.
"Uh...yeah."
"I didn't think I'd be able to see you so soon..."
My sister smiles. "Yeah."
Orihime pulls away and takes her hands into hers. "Hey! That dress looks really good on you! Uryu really knows how to sew huh. Actually, "Umeya" near the school has started serving green tea spaghetti! Let's all go there to celebrate your return! What do you say, Rukia?"
"Sure! I'd be delighted to join you."
"Yes, that's the spirit! And then, their deluxe curry frappe is pretty good too. If you pour it over shaved ice, it's out of this world."
