The Singapore Grand Prix had a charged atmosphere as the drivers lined up on the grid. Carlos had secured pole position after a stunning qualifying session, taking advantage of the Red Bull cars’ struggles on the tricky street circuit. Lando had done well too, securing P6, but he knew he’d need to work hard to fight his way up the order. As the lights went out, all the cars launched forward, engines roaring and tires screeching as they surged into the first corner.

Carlos held his position brilliantly, managing to stay in P1 as he navigated the tight turns of the street circuit. Lando, meanwhile, attacked right from the start, weaving his way through the pack with precision and aggression. Before long, he found himself climbing up the grid, overtaking one car after another. By the midpoint of the race, he had pushed his way into P3, close behind the frontrunners.

Lap after lap, the tension increased as Carlos and Lando maintained their positions. The end of the race was drawing near, and the pressure was mounting. Carlos’s team soon radioed in to warn him that George was closing the gap from behind, pushing hard to snatch the lead. Carlos glanced in his right-side mirror and saw the Mercedes looming, inching closer with each lap. He knew he needed a plan.

- “Give Lando my DRS,”

Carlos radioed in, his voice calm but determined.

- “He won’t be fast enough to pass me, but he’ll be fast enough to keep George behind.”

The request caught his team by surprise—they were competitors, after all, on different teams, and it was rare to see this level of collaboration between rivals. But Carlos knew exactly what he was doing.

After a moment’s hesitation, the team agreed, activating DRS for Lando. It worked like a charm. With the extra speed boost, Lando was able to make his move, overtaking George and slotting into P2 right behind Carlos. The crowd went wild, seeing the two friends and former teammates working together, orchestrating this tactical masterpiece.

As the laps dwindled down, the gap between the top four cars tightened even more. Lewis had climbed to P4, and he was now chasing down George, who was desperately trying to get back past Lando. But with DRS on his side, Lando was holding firm, keeping George at bay while allowing Carlos to focus on the win. It was like watching a perfectly choreographed dance of speed and strategy.

Carlos took a deep breath as he saw the final three corners ahead. His focus sharpened, each movement precise, as he pushed the car through the turns. He caught a glimpse of George attempting a risky maneuver in his mirrors—and then suddenly, chaos unfolded behind him. George’s car hit the wall, bringing out the yellow flags, but by then, it was too late to affect Carlos’s lead.

David Croft’s voice rang out over the loudspeakers, his excitement palpable.

- “Carlos Sainz has done it! He wins the Singapore Grand Prix! What a masterclass performance from Sainz, defending his position with pure strategy and skill!”

Carlos could hardly believe it; he had finally taken his second win after that unforgettable day at Silverstone.

Carlos’s team erupted over the radio.

- “You did it, Carlos! Yes! You’re the winner! P1 baby, P1!!

They shouted with pure joy, their voices echoing through his helmet. Carlos couldn’t hold back his emotions as he yelled back,
