It was a quiet Monday, and Carlos and Lando were busy preparing for their upcoming trip to Spain, where they planned to celebrate Lando's birthday with Carlos’s family. What Lando didn’t know was that his own parents were also coming as a surprise, though they wouldn’t arrive until Wednesday, on his birthday itself.

Carlos, who had already finished packing, lay sprawled on the bed, occasionally glancing up from his phone to watch Lando meticulously organize his luggage. Lando, ever the budding fashion enthusiast, had piled enough outfits for a month despite their week-long trip. Carlos chuckled, unable to resist a comment.

- “Is there some sort of runway event I don’t know about?”

Carlos teased, smirking.

- “Or are you planning on opening a clothing store in Spain?”

Lando turned, rolling his eyes.

- “I’ll have you know, packing options is essential. You never know what the vibe will be!”

He scrunched his nose, determinedly returning to his suitcase.

Carlos rolled his eyes, amused.

- “For a week? The vibe is ‘family time,’ Lando.”

- “Sure,”

Lando replied, laughing,

- “but you wouldn’t understand. You’ve got the same four shirts on rotation.”

Carlos sat up, grabbing Lando and pulling him onto his lap.

- “Maybe so,”

he said, grinning,

- “but I’m the one you have to look at, remember?”

He tugged at Lando’s shirt playfully. “Speaking of, you missed a shirt in your packing.”

Lando raised a brow, glancing down.

- “What do you mean? I—”

He paused, feeling Carlos tug at the shirt he was wearing.

- “Oh, very funny,”

he said with a laugh, leaning back as Carlos’s grin widened.

- “You’re cute when you’re flustered,”

Carlos whispered, brushing his lips softly against Lando’s. They shared a gentle kiss, and Lando’s hand found its way to Carlos’s hair, giving it a slight tug. Carlos smiled against his lips, trying to deepen the kiss, but Lando pulled back.

- “Not now,”

Lando said with a mischievous smirk.

- “We’re leaving in a few hours, and I’d prefer to be able to walk to the airport.”

Carlos groaned, crossing his arms in mock annoyance.

- “This is torture,”

he muttered, trying to look angry but failing as Lando laughed.

- “Don’t be dramatic,”

Lando said, leaning forward to press a gentle kiss to Carlos’s lips.

- “Besides, think of it as a little preview.”

Carlos’s pout slowly shifted to a grin.

- “Fine, but you better make it worth it later,”

he teased.
