Third Person P.O.V

Proteus' ship sails into the harbor of Syracuse, the people cheering excitedly as they await their Prince.

Proteus smiles proudly for his city, turning to his men carrying the pedestal with the Book of Peace resting on it.

...

They carry the book to the top of the tower, and set the pedestal in its rightful place as the book begins to brighten.

The men back away as the bright light flashes throughout Syracuse, lighting the tower like a beacon.

"For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of this moment," Dymas sighs happily, turning to addresses the crowd gathered in his palace. "The sacred treasure that's protected us for a thousand years is now in Syracuse."

The crowd cheer, applauding as Dymas raises his goblet.

"To the Book of Peace!"

"And to you, King Dymas and Prince Proteus. As well as Princess (Y/N)."

Proteus nods in thanks, the Ambassador looking around for a moment.

"Speaking of... Might Princess (Y/N) be joining us, soon?"

Proteus looks around, clearing his throat nervously. "Well..."

"She will momentarily!" a voice quickly says, making Proteus look over in relief at the sight of her fiancé.

Her fiancé was a tall man with dirty blonde hair, tanned skin, and dark brown eyes. And like his cousin Marina, he is an ambassador of Thrace.

"Ah, Olfie!" Proteus breathes out in relief, patting the man's shoulder as he joins the crowd. "What a relief. So, my dear baby sister is on her way?"

Olfie smiles, nodding as he dusts off his own uniform of some dirt. "Apologies for her delay. She insisted on a horse ride, and well, I would dare not to refuse her."

The crowd chuckle, Olfie turning and glancing back. "Ah, and here she is."

(Y/N) was quickly approaching, her hair still somewhat wild from the ride and a grin on her face.

"And here is my lovely daughter," Dymas calls, (Y/N) waving as she slows to a brisk walk as she approaches.

The small crowd erupt with kind greetings, making her smile widen slightly as she nods back to them.

They begin to disperse to mingle and party, leaving the siblings and Olfie alone.

"Little sister, can you never be on time?" Proteus teases with a small grin, playfully patting her head as she smacks his hands away.

"You're one to talk!" she jokes back, crossing her arms. "You were late returning home this evening. I feared we'd have to celebrate without the book and you."

"I was late for a reason!" Proteus defends with a laugh of disbelief, though his smile quickly fell as guards began rushing to the entrance and the crowd murmurs.

Olfie moves to (Y/N)'s side, his brows furrowed as he and Proteus share a concerned look.

...

Sinbad watches them with an unimpressed stare as the guards surround them.

"You see?" He sighs, smirking faintly. "This is what happens when you use the front entrance."

Kale hums in agreement with a nod.

...

"It's all right," Proteus softly tells (Y/N), making her nod as he begins walking over to greet Sinbad.
