I spent the whole Saturday morning and afternoon doing schoolworks and advance studying. I have a lot of upcoming tests and I feel agitated if I'm not doing anything.
Gusto ko mang magpahinga ngunit hindi naman tuluyang nakakapagpahinga ang utak ko dahil sa mga iniisip.
"Ahia Atien's bugging me because you're not replying daw!" Ani Rafaella na nasa kabilang linya.
I'm cleaning my unit so I put her on speaker. Gusto nilang makipagkwentuhan ni Kayley ngunit parehong tinatamad na lumabas ng sariling mga unit.
"You know your cousin better than I do, Raf... don't you think may gusto siya kay Lia?"
Napasinghal ako nang marinig ang sinabi ni Kayley. Not this topic again!
Rinding-rindi na ako dahil kina Carson, Rishi, at Evi. Don't tell me na pati sina Rafaella at Kayley ay ito rin ang gustong pag-usapan?
Rafaella ignored Kayley's words. "Pumunta ka na. Thank you dinner daw."
I sighed and nodded even though they still can't see it. Sige, pagbibigyan ko na lang ngunit last na talaga ito.
Ayaw ko rin namang maging dependent sa kaniya dahil, unang-una, hindi niya naman ako responsibilidad. I guess I had too much fun eating home-cooked meals that I forgot that I should learn how to stand on my own too.
I left our group call to shower and rest. Pagkatapos patuyuin ang buhok ay saka ako dumiretso sa unit ni Atien. He was already cooking when I arrived.
"Tulungan na kita," I said as I took the seat in front of him.
We're waiting for the food to cook and he's taking the time to change the dressing of his wound. At dahil injured ang isa niyang daliri ay nahihirapan siyang palitan ang bandage.
I know he's struggling but he still refused my help. Tinitingnan ko pa nga lang ang ginagawa niya ay nahihirapan na ako, ano pa kaya siya?
I pulled his arm so it would stretch. Nilagyan ko iyon ng antibiotic bago binalot ng panibagong bandage.
"You got here early. The food isn't ready yet," anito habang nililigpit ang first-aid kit.
I nodded and went to the living room. Doon ako pumwesto sa sofa at saka pinikit ang mga mata para makapagpahinga. Ayaw ko mang aminin pero bored na bored na ako sa unit ko kaya naisipan kong pumunta nang maaga.

"Why did you let him cook? He's already injured na nga, oh!"
I sighed and got up from the couch. My head feels like it's spinning because I stood up too abruptly. But if I stay another minute with Vixen's sermon, my head would explode.
Gutom ako at naputol ang tulog ko. Nahihilo ako at madaming iniisip. I don't want Vixen to add another headache. Baka mag-away lang kami rito.
I know that people are saying that she and Atien are only "besties" but I also know that she sees Atien more than that. If anything, manhid lang talaga si Atien.
