Married To Ms. Tsundere [Lisa×Irene]

Chapter 7

The dinner went quite well. Lisa mostly did the talk for her and Irene and the middle-aged couple laughing and joking around with the younger woman.

Irene didn't mind though. She's more of a listener than a talker itself.

They are now waiting for the desserts when a man walks towards their table, causing Hyun (Irene's mother) to squeal in excitement.

"Suho! When did you come back?"

Lisa's eyebrows furrowed at the man. Her eyes glance towards her wife but Irene isn't doing anything other than checking her emails for business meetings. She directed her stare towards the middle-aged man in front, seeing how his face contorted into a blank slate.

This made her confused. What's happening? And who is the man that suddenly went to their table?

Suho looks at the middle-aged woman who greeted him. She didn't change one bit but became much younger than before. He wouldn't deny that.

"Auntie, it's nice to meet you again."

His gaze landed on the man beside the middle-aged woman's chair, smiling a little but he didn't receive anything from the man. Until it's darted on the woman in the red dress, beautiful as always.

He couldn't help the smile making its way to his lips. 

"I just went back from the States yesterday, I even saw Joohyun."

"Oh, glad Joohyun went home safe with someone I trust."

Hajoon (Irene's father) stands up from his chair. His eyes looked at Lisa and the woman nodded. The tall woman stood up from her chair, her eyes looking at Irene but she didn't dare to speak.

"Honey, we'll just be at the bar."

"Oh, all right. Don't drink too much."

Hajoon leads Lisa towards the bar of the restaurant. It's quite far but you'll be able to see the people from the restaurant. Lisa's mind clouded with questions, looking at the three who sat down on the unoccupied seats.

Her eyebrows furrowed more, her face showing a frown as Suho went and sat down on where Lisa's sitting earlier. His eyes darted to the woman who stayed focused on her phone.

"Who is he, Dad?"

"That's Joohyun's ex-boyfriend."

Upon hearing what the middle-aged man said, Lisa didn't know how to react. She nodded, looking at the bartender who pushed a glass of whiskey toward the woman.

"Can you handle that?"

"Yes, Dad."

Lisa smiled at the middle-aged man, downing the whiskey while her eyes looked towards the three people at their table. Hajoon looks at Lisa before looking back, seeing as Suho seems a little near Irene.

He sighs in disagreement, looking back to Lisa who's eyes look closely towards Irene and Suho. Hyun doesn't even care about the closeness of the two, all she can think of is how happy she is to finally see someone whom Irene took interest in.

"Why did they break up?"

"Well, other than Suho going to the States to study, Joohyun's arranged to you and busy at the company."

Hajoon answered Lisa's question. His eyes darting on the third glass of whiskey Lisa's drinking, he couldn't help but look a little concerned towards the woman.

"Are you jealous?"

"I'm stressed from schoolwork Dad, I think the alcohol yesterday wasn't enough."
