Chapter 18

"Let's get lunch guys."

"Yeah, ask the whole squad."

"I'll message them."

Seulgi and Dahyun both conversed while they wait for Lisa to finish fixing her things. The monolid eyed woman grab her phone, messaging the group chat.

The tall woman put her bag over her shoulder, looking at the two who nodded at her. They all walked out, laughing and talking about the class that ended.

It was supposed to be a 3 hour lecture but a meeting occured. They didn't even expect their professor to stay until those 3 hours.

You know, school and athletic stuff.

As they were nearing through the door, a voice from behind spoke. It called the tall woman.

"Ms. Manoban."

Lisa looked back, seeing their newest Psychology Professor standing still behind them. Seulgi and Dahyun pat Lisa's shoulder, walking out of the school premises.

It was silent for a few minutes, no one dared to speak even Lisa who looks at the Professor confusedly.

"How are you feeling?"

"Excuse me?"

"Lisa, don't act like you don't know me."

Lisa's smile flatten, her eyes pierce at the Professor  who look at her casually. Professor Son sighs, she nods at Lisa before walking away.

This is a sign for Lisa to follow the woman, which the tall woman sighed at and shakes her head. She did follow her anyway.

The two went inside a room, Lisa's eyes went towards the desk inside the room. A nameplate read the small woman's name.

"You shouldn't have come here."

"I know what I'm doing."

Professor Son looked at Lisa, her gaze pierce through the woman's eyes as the younger sighs and shakes her head.

Lisa sat down on the chair in front of the desk, looking face-to-face towards the Professor who held her chin high.

"Wendy, no need to accept orders from my mother."

Son Wendy is a renowned psychologist. She impressed a lot of doctors by her early graduation at the age of 20 and have been a psycholigist for 4 years.

It wasn't that hard to land a job in one of the prestigious school in Korea. She's part of the infamous Son Medical Hospital.

Yep, her family's involve in the medical industry.

And you have guessed it right, Chaeyoung and Wendy are sisters. Lisa didn't knew for awhile until Chaeyoung bought it up back when starting college.

Wendy shakes her head, her hand laying on the table as she looks at Lisa. This woman is her special case, an unsolve mystery to say.

Wendy knew Lisa has a tendency to be obessessive, yet the woman seems to not notice. But Wendy knew it won't come out.

At least for now.

"You passed out last time, why?"

Lisa sighs and shakes her head. If she told this to Wendy, it's not like the woman would help her solve her problem.

And hell, does she even have any idea of who the woman might be.

Yet, Wendy seems persistent. She waited for Lisa to speak, even if it'll take them days to even have the woman share her thoughts.
