Chapter 19

"What are you doing here?"

Irene doesn't need to look up to see Suho walking in again inside her office. The man doesn't seem to know the answer to his invitation.

A big no.

Irene continue to work, her hand busy skimming and signing the document in front of her. Suho entered with a smile, walking towards Irene's desk with confidence.

"Am I interrupting you?"

"Obviously."

The man's cheeks blushes in embarrassment but either way, he took a seat in front of Irene's desk. He observe the woman's feature.

Irene didn't change at all.

Still the same beautiful and elegant woman. Though, her attitude seems to change a little. Much colder than who she was before.

Suho remembered back when they were together, Irene would sometimes visit him in their company and wait for him to finish work.

Without talking.

And Suho grew fond of Irene's presence even if the woman treated him nothing more than like a friend. Well, he wouldn't deny the fact that Irene wanted to keep it lowkey.

That's why only his family and Irene's parents knew about their relationship.  

"Doesn't this remind you of something?"

"Quiet."

"Come on Joohyun-"

Irene glares at Suho, her hand closing the ballpen she's using before she fixes the document that lay on her table.

"It's Irene for you."

Suho stayed silent for a while, his mouth opened a little before curving into a small smile. Irene doesn't like her given name much and no one knew why.

The small woman stands up from her chair, looking away as she felt her phone vibrated on her pocket. It was her secretary, telling her about the meeting.

"Can I invite you for lunch?"

"I have a meeting."

Irene left the man standing in the middle of her office, her presence leaving the room premises as Suho sighs in defeat.

"What's with that woman anyway? It's not like she can give you a child."

Suho smirks in anger, his hand balled as his eyes darted on the picture frame on Irene's desk. Lisa's smiling face with Irene beside her who still held her iconic cold gaze.

Lisa lean her back on the couch, looking at Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon who are gaming on the PS5.

They all went to Rosé's house, having to plan a sleepover. It's been awhile since they get all together and now's the best time to do it.

Rosé and Chaeyoung are both busy with their fine arts course both respectively in film and drawing. Jeongyeon and Tzuyu are both busy with their architecture course. 

Lisa, Dahyun, and Seulgi with multiple projects at their engineering course. While Mina's busy with her medical course. This is definitely a new and calming way to destress.

Other than hearing multiple laughter and yelling, this is still one of the calmest Lisa be.

"Did you ask Irene that you're having a sleepover?"
