Chapter 21

Wendy's eyes stared blankly at Irene who look at Lisa's passed out body. The older woman glares at her, the latter feeling goosebumps all over her body.

"Who are you?"

Irene look at the two behind her. Sensing the cold gazes, Seulgi and Dahyun both went towards their direction and was about to lift Lisa up.

"Don't touch Lisa."

Irene's gaze went towards Wendy. The woman stands up from the ground, her composure coming back as she clears her throat.

She quickly went to her desk, grabbing a pillow in a cabinet and waling towards the tall woman before settling her on the floor.

Irene's glare was evident, she didn't want her wife to wake up feeling pain all over her body.

"You two lift her up and settle her on the couch."

"No, let her sleep like that, she needs to do something."

As soon as Wendy finished speaking, a giggle was heard. They all look at the woman on the ground, seeing her lips smiley with her eyes tearing up a little.

Seulgi and Dahyun looked at each other, not knowing what is happening towards their friend.

Wendy sighs in relief, going back on her position as she fixed Lisa's hands on the side. Irene doesn't understand what the woman's doing.

This is one of the practices Wendy did 5 years ago. And it didn't end well which made Lisa to lose her memories in the process.

Wendy sat down on Lisa's side, her knees kneeled on the floor as she went and grab the tall woman's hands.

This is seen by Irene, which made the woman to clench her jaw.

Lisa's face contorted, her tears walking out of her closed eyes as her lips quiver. Her head panning from left and right, hands removing from Wendy's grip as she sat up, eyes open wide.

Her gaze was greeted by the woman on her left side, seeing the same yet matured looking woman beside her.

"Wendy, do you know her?"

"Chill out woman."

Nayeon said but she laughs upon seeing Irene downing a glass of whiskey. It wasn't the typical celebration party.

Today, Irene asked them all out for a drink. Thinking it'll be light and calming was a mistake as they are sitting inside a club.

Jennie sighs in confusion, not clearly understanding why Irene's suddenly asking for a drink.

While Momo, Jihyo, Nayeon, and Sana all hang out happily. They are Irene's friends, which all helped the woman out of trouble.

"What happened?"

"Well, Tzuyu told me something happened to Lisa and Irene happens to see Lisa with someone."

Sana replied, sipping a glass of margarita that lays on her hand. Irene was furious when she went back to the office.

The two women, Jennie and Sana, doesn't understand a thing about the sudden change of mood.

Irene went in the office all giddy and happy, she looks like the teenage girl that just got accepted by her crush.

Which in her case, Lisa.

And yet, when the older woman went back, her old demeanor changes. From this sweet looking innocent girl to a fierce cold lady.
