The three of you ended up making it back to the prison, your brother moved out of the cell while you were gone wanting his own space, so you let the little girl stay there as you were going to be the one to watch her for now. Sam wasn't happy seeing you bring a child back.
"Do you really think you are qualified to watch a child in this world?" He asked as he approached you outside.

You looked at him with a questioning look. "What do you mean?"

"You brought a child back! Which is fine but shouldn't you hand her off onto someone else?"

"No one else can take her, and not everyone can drop what they're doing to watch a child or tend to them," you pointed out.

He seemed to get more upset at your answer. "That way you can get her killed like you did mom," he muttered just loud enough for you to hear.

"It wasn't my fault! What could I have done?" You snapped at him. He didn't say anything just simply turned and walked away.

The world kept spinning and days passed. You noticed people were coughing here and there hoping that it's not the flu or something. As you laid in your bed. When the sun came up you were already outside with Carol making food and Daisy still inside asleep, that's when you heard gun shots making you and Carol turn.
Rick and the group outside running in to help everyone you quickly followed, making it into the cell block it looked like chaos had broke out with walkers eating people you quickly ran by making it to the cell Daisy had been in. You quickly grabbed her and carried her out with Sam bumping into you.

He decided to keep helping the others with the walkers as you got the little girl outside to safety. "What's going on in there? Are you okay?" Carol asked looking to the girl as you sat her down.

"I-I don't know, the monsters just came out of nowhere," Daisy said playing with her fingers.

As everyone began settling down, Hershel said something about a sickness from the pigs, they began separating the sick ones, Rick got rid of the pigs, rumors of murder spread, and Daisy ended up getting a cough and as soon as you heard it your heart dropped instantly. You walked her to where they were keeping the sickly, you walked up to her Daisy at toe, she looked down at the little girl with a saddened expression. "She started coughing," you said softly.

Carol put her hand on Daisys shoulder, "Lizzie's in there," she said softly knowing daisy and the girls would sometimes go off and do whatever kids do.

Daisy smiled at her before giving you a hug she went in as you stood there, you took a deep breath trying not to worry.

As you walked outside feeling the tears in your eyes you seen Daryl, Michonne, Tyreese, and Bob getting ready to leave for mediation. You ran over to them. "Let me come," you said making them look at you. "Daisy's sick, I wanna help," you continued.

Daryl walked over to you talking low, "you should stay here." You shook your head at his suggestion. That's when he grabbed you by the shoulder turning you away from the group. "You are in charge of her, if something happens it'd be best to be here for her." You stood for a second before slowly nodding.

"Okay," you said softly looking at your feet before looking over at him. "You better come back, with that medicine." Your words sounded harsh but you couldn't let that little girl suffer and die, especially when all you can do is sit back watch. Ever since you brought her back she stayed right next to you, learning things about each other and becoming closer as if she was family, a hard thing to achieve in today's world.

You visited Daisy, let her know Daryl had a group to go get meds, that she was gonna be okay, and as soon as she got better the two of you would find something fun to do. When you and her weren't able to see each other you kept yourself busy, finding things to do around the prison, helping with chores now that there were less hands. Other times you just sat in an empty cell waiting, hoping the four of them didn't get themselves killed.
You spent most of your day helping Maggie if she needed it and Carol as well. Hershel had ended up going into the cell block where they were keeping the sick.

Daisy ended up getting worse to where Hershel ended up coming to the glass where Daisy had sat not to long ago. He basically told you not to think negative thoughts, but you couldn't help it.  Carol and Rick eventually went off on a run.

You sat outside watching for that car to come into view. Hoping that car would show back up.

You eventually joined Rick and Maggie to help reinforce the fences as a gun shot echoed you shot your head up, Rick told you and Maggie to go. you waisted no time and Maggie followed behind you running to where they were keeping everyone. Maggie tried busting the door down with her hatchet she had snapping it in half. You and her quickly found another way end seeing walkers if people who were alive not to long ago. You quickly put one down with Maggie following up behind you. That's when the two of you noticed Hershel fighting a walker.

You left her side to check on everyone as Maggie and Hershel ran to Glenn after getting the bag. As you looked around and checked on everyone that's when you noticed Daisy, rolling out of her bed. Your heart dropped as she grumbled, stumbling to the cell door that kept her captive. You stood looking at her for what felt like forever, you slowly pulled out your knife. Grabbing her by the collar of her shirt you drove your knife into the girls head putting her down.
As her already dead body hit the floor, you simply sat next to her cell, you didn't know if you were sad or mad. Tyreese came running in going straight to Sasha's cell. You just watched.

You eventually got up and walked out of the tomb.
