Prompt: Harry Potter's sister has a forbidden, secret relationship with Mattheo Riddle, the son of her parent's killer.

So two people requested a Mattheo Riddle x Potter Reader Forbidden Love, and I decided to combine them into one story since the prompts seemed pretty easy to combine.

Fifth Year:

(Y/n) Potter was different from her brother. While he was placed in Gryffindor, she was placed in Slytherin. He befriended Ron Weasley and Hermione, you were closer with Draco Malfoy and Mattheo Riddle. Especially Mattheo Riddle.

You knew his father had killed your parents. You knew his mother was an evil death eater. You knew your brother hated him because of his parents, but you had inherited your mother's kind heart. You befriended Mattheo Riddle simply because you thought he was funny and intriguing.

And somewhere over the years, you ended up liking him. Not just like him, but you'll admit, you fell in love with Mattheo Riddle. He'd confessed to you the night of the Yule Ball when he admitted to being so jealous of seeing you with Seamus Finnegan that he'd blurted it out before he could stop himself.

You'd kissed him that night, under the stars in the garden. It was perfect. The two of you were perfect. Together, just as you were always meant to be.

Only Draco Malfoy knew the two of you were dating. He was your best friend. You couldn't keep anything from him. He also typically covered for you two when people got suspicious.

Your brother Harry disapproved of your friendship with the two, a fact he made known whenever he could. Mattheo didn't blame him, as he would probably act the same if he were in Harry's shoes. But it hurt, knowing the girl he's in love with's brother hates him. As much as the two of you would love to tell the entire school you're dating, Harry's hatred of Mattheo made you two decide it's best to remain secret.

For now, at least.

It's difficult, though. For Mattheo especially. He'd love to scream from the roof of the Astronomy Tower that the two of you are together, that if Harry Potter's sister loves him, he's not a monster, but it's not that simple.

"(Y/n)!" You hear your brother call behind you. You mentally sigh, knowing what's coming. Lately, Harry has been paying extra attention to you, what with the return of Voldemort and all. You're touched that he is so concerned with keeping you safe but annoyed that he seems almost controlling.

You force a cheerful expression onto your face. "Hi, Harry!" You greet your brother. "How are things?" you ask him. You heard the whispers about your brother and Dumbledore being crazy and attention seekers, and you know the new professor, Umbridge, wasn't making things any easier for him. You'd made it a point to snap back at any of the members of your house that insulted him in your presence, and even Draco laid off, though he still made fun of Harry more for appearances than anything else.

"Bad. How are you still friends with Riddle? His father is back and the Order would rather you stay away from him." You roll your eyes. The Order has made it clear on more than one occasion that they don't trust your friendship with Mattheo and Draco, but you don't really give a damn. Mattheo and Draco don't keep secrets from you, so you don't see a problem with not keeping anything from them. Especially since you don't know anything.
