Yoomin and Taekook strolled through the bustling shopping district, weaving between racks of clothing and shelves of accessories.

Suga: "Can you two give us a little space?"
Suga’s voice cut through the noise, and Taehyung and Jungkook glanced at each other, exchanging silent signals.

Tae: "Yeah, sure. Let’s go,"
Taehyung mumbled, nudging Jungkook as they headed off in the opposite direction, leaving Jimin and Suga to do their own shopping.

Once alone, Jungkook hesitated, breaking the silence with a casual, “So…”

Taehyung shot him a sideways look.
Tae: "Don’t even think about asking me for coffee. I’m not in the mood."

Jungkook raised his hands in surrender, chuckling softly.

Jungkook: "Alright, alright… how about some shopping, then?"

Their steps led them to a store with elegant wedding dresses displayed in the windows, sparkling under the shop lights. Jungkook nudged him, eyes gleaming.
Jungkook: "How about a wedding dress?"

Taehyung looked at the rows of dresses and shrugged.
Tae: "I have no idea. Just… pack anything." He waved a hand dismissively, signalling to the shopkeeper.

Jungkook: *raised a brow* "You don’t seem too thrilled."

A sigh escaped Taehyung as he murmured.
Tae: "I hate arranged marriages…"

Jungkook: "Have you ever tried for love?"

Taehyung paused, eyes darkening for a moment, but quickly turned away, shrugging off Jungkook’s question.
Tae: *murmured* "Haven’t found it yet."

Jungkook: *voice softened* "You should meet him. Maybe you’ll fall in love."

Taehyung: *scoffed* "I don’t think so…"

There was a pause, and then Jungkook, his tone playful again.
Jungkook: "Can I pick one for you?"

Taehyung looked at him, a small, grateful smile tugging at his lips.
Tae: "Sure, go ahead."

Jungkook selected a dress and handed it to him.
Jungkook: "Try this one."

Obediently, Taehyung slipped into the dressing room, emerging in suit after suit, each one more stunning than the last.

Jungkook eventually leaned against a rack, sighing.
Jungkook: "This is impossible…"

Taehyung looked at his reflection, a hint of self-doubt in his eyes.
Tae: "What? I know I don’t look that good."

Jungkook: *shook his head* "No, no. You look beautiful in all of them. It’s just… we have to choose one."

Taehyung’s lips quirked up in a smile.

Tae: "Alright then, start counting to ten…"

They both laughed, and finally, Jungkook pointed to a dress.
Jungkook: "That’s the one."

Shopping bags in hand, they wrapped up the day with dinner, laughter lingering between them as they made their way back home, a quiet understanding growing in the unspoken spaces between their words.

Suga: "Rate Your meeting..."
Jungkook let out a deep sigh, looking a little dazed. "Beautiful," he murmured.

Suga just winked and left Jungkook standing there, heading to their room. As they settled in, Suga broke the news casually,
Suga: "Mom and Dad are coming this week. Mom wants to celebrate… with her new son-in-law, Taehyung. You should talk to Mom about the engagement."

Jungkook hesitated, a trace of uncertainty flickering in his eyes.
Jungkook: "I want to know how Taehyung feels about all this,"

Suga shook his head gently.

Suga: "Don't make things complicated. If Taehyung wasn’t ready, Uncle Namjoon would never force him. You know how things are with me and Jimin."

A playful smile spread across Jungkook's face.
Jungkook: "Oh, I know all about you two," he teased.

Suga: *smiled* "Not again,"

.....

Taehyung tried calling Minho, but there was no answer. He dialled again, his voice barely a whisper as he muttered, "Minho… please… pick up the phone."
With no response, he sighed and decided to call J-Hope instead.

Tae: "Hobi.., it’s me… Taehyung. Is Minho with you?"
He said as soon as his friend picked up.

J.Hope: "Yeah, we’re at a bar. He’s throwing a party."

Tae: "A party…?"

J-Hope: "His fiancée just came back from London, so he threw a party for his friends. Didn’t he invite you?"

Taehyung hesitated, feeling a pang of hurt. Tae: "I… I… was busy."

J.Hope: "Don’t worry, I’ll send you a Snap,"

Tae: "Yeah… sure…"
Taehyung murmured, forcing himself to sound grateful.

Moments later, the Snap arrived. Taehyung opened it and saw Minho and his fiancée cutting a cake, laughing, and kissing each other in front of their friends. His phone slipped from his hand, clattering to the floor as the weight of the image crushed him. Alone in the darkness, he cried through the night.

At Engagement

Tae: "Appa, please don’t force me,"
Taehyung pleaded, his voice tense with frustration.

Namjoon: *looked at him sternly* "What’s the problem with Jungkook? He’s much better than Minho. He stands up for you, and he hasn’t even met you yet, but he’s already asked for your hand."

Taehyung shook his head, struggling to find the right words.
Tae: "Jungkook? I don’t even know him, Appa."

Namjoon: "Don’t make a scene, Taehyung. I’m not asking for much. All I said was to have Minho come and meet me, but he isn’t even willing to show up for you."

Tae: "Maybe he’s just caught up in work," Taehyung replied, trying to defend Minho.

Namjoon: "There should be nothing more important than love, Taehyung, I’ve seen the world, and people who truly fall in love never compromise."
Namjoon said, his voice softening slightly but remaining firm.

Turning to his Dad, Jin, Taehyung pleaded, Tae: "Dad, please tell Appa that I don’t want to marry Jungkook. I don’t even know him."

Namjoon’s gaze was unyielding.
"Then get to know him… I don’t care. Just get ready."
.......

The celebration was small and intimate, with both families and a few friends gathered to share in the moment. Jungkook seemed genuinely happy, a smile lighting up his face as he looked around the room. Taehyung, however, seemed distant, his expression unreadable.

When the time came, they exchanged rings, a brief moment passing between them.
