Taehyung spent the whole night thinking about Jungkook—about the way he loved and cared so deeply. But in the morning, when Jungkook returned to his room, Taehyung was taken aback by what he saw. Jungkook was stumbling, his steps unsteady; he was clearly drunk.

Concerned, Taehyung stepped forward to help, but Jungkook jerked his hand away, his expression filled with pain and anger.

Jungkook: *spat out* "Don’t touch me… you cheater, liar…You have to tell me about your love life… I took a step back, but you ruined me."

Jungkook moved closer, and Taehyung instinctively took a step back. But Jungkook wouldn’t let it go.

Jungkook: "No… listen…" he continued, his voice breaking.

Jungkook: "I loved you from the first time I saw you, even if it was just in pictures. Just pictures. I came here for you, I wanted to be close to you, but you always pushed me away. You don’t care about my feelings, and that’s why you haven’t found love. You’re a selfish person... I hate you. I hate you."

Taehyung felt his heart shatter with each word. He couldn’t hold back the tears any longer.

Seeing him cry, Jungkook’s tone softened.

Jungkook: "Ssshhh… ssshh… don’t cry… don’t cry… I… I… love you… I can’t leave you… I… want to hold you… Look at my hands… they’re empty… without you…"

Taehyung listened, feeling each word like a knife to his heart. He stood there, blaming and cursing himself, his thoughts swirling back to when he had fallen for Minho.

Jungkook, his steps still unsteady, eventually stumbled over to the bed. He was mumbling to himself, but soon fell asleep, leaving Taehyung standing alone, overwhelmed by regret and heartbreak.

At Morning

Taehyung couldn’t stop thinking about Jungkook and everything that had happened between them. Confused and overwhelmed, he decided to go to his parents' house for some space and clarity.

He called Minho, needing someone to talk to. He told Minho about the tense conversation he’d had with Jungkook, explaining the painful accusations and the turmoil he felt.

Minho: "Relax…Talk to him, and then come back to me. I’m waiting for you."

Taehyung: *hesitated* "Are you sure I should talk to him?"

Minho: "Yeah, Taehyung, Tell him the truth."

Jungkook woke up to an empty house. He looked around, noticing there was no sign of Taehyung. A sudden panic set in as he hurriedly got up and called out for him, but the house was silent.

Jungkook: *muttered to himself* "Maybe he went to his parent's house,"
Jungkook quickly got ready to leave.

As he stepped outside, he saw Taehyung walking on the footpath, seemingly lost in thought. Jungkook called out to him, but Taehyung ignored him and kept walking.

Jungkook: *pleaded* "Taehyung, I’m sorry. Please, come to the car. Let’s talk,"

Taehyung stopped and glanced back.
Tae: "Yeah, I want to talk with you too."

Jungkook’s face softened with relief.

Jungkook: "Let’s go somewhere,"

They sat across from each other in a cosy restaurant, the quiet atmosphere perfect for an honest conversation.

Tae: "Thank you, Jungkook. You’re a really nice person, But the truth is... I love someone else."

Jungkook’s expression tightened as he closed his eyes, bracing himself against the painful reality he didn’t want to hear.

Taehyung: "My father forced me into this marriage because he misunderstood things with Minho, my friend from university. There’s no future for us, Jungkook because I don’t love you. So, please... let’s get a divorce."

Jungkook stopped eating, his fork frozen in mid-air as Taehyung’s words sank in. He looked at him, stunned and speechless.

Taehyung: *gently* "Can you do that?"

After a long silence, Jungkook finally spoke. Jungkook: "Why didn’t Minho come to meet your father if he really loved you?"

Taehyung sighed and explained the full story of how his father had misunderstood his relationship with Minho.

Jungkook listened, then looked Taehyung in the eye.

Jungkook: "I want to meet him. I need to be sure that he’s able to keep you happy."

Tae: *frowned, frustrated* "Don’t try to act like my father, Jungkook. I love him, and he loves me, that’s enough."

Jungkook: *face hardened with determination* "I won’t agree to a divorce until I meet him."

With a sigh, Taehyung pulled out his phone. Tae: "Fine. Let me call him."

He tried dialling Minho several times, but there was no answer.

Jungkook: "Then let’s go to his place. It’ll be easier to talk to him in person."

Taehyung and Jungkook arrived at Minho’s apartment unexpectedly, hoping to confront him. As they stepped inside, voices echoed from the other room.

They moved further in, and Taehyung froze, his heart sinking, Minho was there, kissing Hana.

Tae: "Minho!"
Taehyung called out, unable to hide the hurt in his voice.

Hana turned to him with a glare.
Hana: "You bitch… why won’t you leave him?"

Jungkook: "Hey… behave yourself,"
Jungkook snapped, stepping protectively in front of Taehyung.

Hana scoffed, her eyes flashing with anger. Hana: "Oh, so you want two men at once? That’s why I called you a bitch. Leave my fiancé alone!"

Jungkook’s face darkened, and he lifted a hand in anger, ready to slap her, but Taehyung quickly held him back.

Taehyung turned to Minho, his voice shaking. Tae: "Minho, what is this? You told me you broke up with her."

Hana let out a bitter laugh.
Hana: "Broke up? I’m pregnant, Taehyung. He’s been cheating on you, and we’re getting married soon."

The words hit Taehyung like a blow. Stunned, he stood motionless as tears slipped down his face.

Minho: "Taehyung, listen to me—"

But Taehyung instinctively took a step back, the betrayal too much to bear. Jungkook quickly moved between them, blocking Minho from getting closer.

When Minho tried again to reach out to Taehyung, Jungkook swung a hard punch at him.
Jungkook: "Not again," *his voice full of anger*

Without another word, Jungkook took Taehyung’s hand and led him out of the apartment. Taehyung cried quietly as they made their way back home, feeling the weight of heartbreak settle over him. Once there, Taehyung headed straight to his room, closing the door behind him and shutting himself away from the world.
