Clarke was in the dressing room, wearing the dress that Indra gave her to try on. It was even more elegant than the blue dress that Lexa bought her. She still looked all dressed up like the First Lady of the United States. Lexa's mother didn't seem to be happy with it and showed up with a few more dresses to try on:

- Mrs. Woods, it's you who is celebrating your birthday and who has to look pretty.

- Nonsense and call me Indra or Mom whatever you want

Clarke hung one of the dresses on the rack and looked at the woman:

- I really appreciate everything you do, but I guess one day I'll have to leave- Indra looked sad- Lexa will want her privacy back and I don't want you two spending a fortune on dresses that I might wear once in my life.

Indra stood with her arms akimbo:

- Lexa did something unpleasant and that's why you want to leave- he stood behind her and caressed her arms with affection- don't hold her accountable for many things, Lexa is complicated, she has suffered a lot, she has suffered the lack of things that my daughter Alicia has had in abundance, the love of her father, friendships, even in love, since you've been here even a little bit I see that she has changed- he looked pleadingly at Clarke- aren't you even a little bit attracted to her? I assure you that if you give her the opportunity to even get to know her, you will realize that she has a beautiful heart

Clarke raised her eyebrows, she may have a beautiful heart, but since she met Lexa she had seen many women cry, not counting the woman they met at school. She couldn't complain, lately Lexa was being a sweetheart to her, she liked spending time with Lexa, but what surprised her the most about Indra, was that she was playing matchmaker with her daughter and widow of her other daughter:

- I'm sorry, I don't know if I understood correctly. Are you suggesting that I go out with your daughter Lexa?

- Yeah

He said with all the sincerity in the world, leaving the blonde almost speechless:

- I am the widow of your daughter Alicia

- Clarke, you are young and knowing my daughter Alicia I would want you to be happy- The woman shrugged- it is believed that the right thing to do is to lock ourselves away and cry, but the dead are no longer with us, only in our hearts, however life does not forgive those of us who still walk in it, I have seen the way you look at each other, two women in the prime of life who feel and suffer. Do not feel guilty for falling in love again and do not fear what I or others may say.

- Lexa doesn't think the same, she thinks she should respect me for being Alicia's wife.

Indra smiled and caressed the blue-eyed girl's cheek, she was so understanding and warm. For a moment he longed for her to be his own mother:

- Well, we'll have to make her shove her honor up her ass and stop with this nonsense- Clarke's eyes widened upon hearing that vulgar expression- with the right dress.

- Mrs. Woods, what an inappropriate expression.

- We are on a first-name basis, as if she were a refined rich Englishwoman, taking everything into account.

They continued chatting about everything, Clarke tried to get more information from Lexa to understand her a little. Apart from what she told her, she had suffered deficiencies, she had already witnessed the way Gustus treated Lexa, the subject of friends had always been attributed to how rude he is and the way he treats women, she was supposed to be a widow, Indra sometimes answered sincerely and there were subjects she answered evasively. The subject of Lexa's wife was a complete mystery. Lexa did not talk about her, her children did not remember and even the few times that the subject had come up it seemed that she hated her instead of remembering her with love, even so at no time had she seen her take off her wedding ring. In the end they agreed that Clarke would change at the Woods mansion, so that when she appeared she would have more impact. Lexa thought it was fabulous, since she had a work appointment:
