Both women slowly separated as they lay in bed. Rosalie had trouble catching her breath momentarily as she looked over at Serafina, who had a smirk on her face. Rosalie gave her a shove as she wrapped the sheets more tightly around her body.

Serafina laughed, "Why do you always get shy after? It's not like I haven't seen your body before."

"Shut up," Rosalie mumbled as she kicked Serafina with her foot while trying to hide her face.

"You're so beautiful," Serafina said as she moved the sheets blocking her view of Rosalie's perfect face.

Rosalie blew some strands of hair from her face as she looked at Serafina with a brow raised. "I'm not even wearing any makeup right now, " she said with disbelief, trying to hide her face again.

"You don't need it," Serafina scoffed, moving the sheets away from her face again. She then lifted the blanket from Rosalie, causing her to gasp from the cold before Serafina pulled her body to her own and rewrapped the two's naked bodies within the sheets together.

Rosalie smacked Serafina lightly before embracing her for warmth.

Serafina chuckled, "This is what I'd like to do more often, please."

"We have sex almost every day; what more do you want?" Rosalie asked curiously.

"Not sex, this. Cuddles. The two of us just being together. I want to be with you more often. Maybe even outside of this apartment," Serafina began to explain.

"Don't, we can't," Rosalie said as she tried to distance herself from Serafina but was immediately dragged back. Rosalie allowed it but turned her back to Serafina, "I'm married."

"If you weren't, would you consider it?" Serafina asked.

"No, I'm not strong enough to have people see me that way," Rosalie admitted in a whisper. She knew Serafina was brave and would never mind if any gossip was said about her, but Rosalie was different. She was the perfect housewife. Every man's dream. She was used to the praise and jealousy; she didn't think she would ever be able to handle someone speaking poorly of her. And for those who were a bit funny, they were only spoken of negatively.

"I could protect you," Serafina soothed.

"I can't! Please stop!" Rosalie snapped as she tried to distance herself again.

Serafina held on tightly, "I'm sorry, I'll stop. I was only letting you know what I would like, but I will hide this forever to be able to stay with you." Serafina begged as she wrapped her arms more securely around Rosalie's waist.

Before Rosalie could say anything, they heard William's cries from the other room. Serafina assured Rosalie she would get him, and she got out of bed, grabbed her silk robe, and made her way over to the baby in the other room.

"You shouldn't have to," she whispered as she watched Serafina leave. She sighed as she took the time to get herself dressed. When fully clothed, she walked out to the living room and saw Serafina playing with her baby boy, and she loved seeing it. She noticed that although her son had no idea what they did at Serafina's home every day, it was his favorite time of the day.
