"Mommy I'm hungry—"

"There's a banana in your lunch bag baby, just eat that in the car" Yunhui said, her tired voice putting up as much fight as she could while her son practically stressed out from how they've strayed from their routine all morning.

They woke up an hour later, didn't have breakfast and his mom had stolen another one of his dino socks. It was a nightmare for him.

"But that's for lunch" he pouted with a small voice

"It's a banana Hyuk, you can have it any time of the day" she mumbled, finding the keys in her coat pocket before she began to lock the door, another one opening from behind them

"Good morn—"

"Inside voice Jinah, inside voice" Jaehyun hissed, his head practically splitting open with her excitement. Jinah was a heavy sleeper and she slept peacefully the whole night without a second of disturbed sleep, unlike the other three who were sporting eyebags right now.

Minhyuk was already by the elevator holding it open for everyone at this point, knowing that they usually rode it altogether at this point anyway.

"Watch your step" Jaehyun warned with a light voice as Yunhui lazily walked towards the elevator, she slowed down and made more mindful steps wirh his advice, making sure not to shove her heel into gap again.

"Thanks" she mumbled, leaning against the cold metal wall and closing her eyes almost immediately, trying to forget that she was on her way to work on a Monday morning. Jaehyun easily fell back asleep last night, Yunhui, however, stayed up another hour overthinking what Jaehyun had told her in passing and possibly as a joke.

"Did you sleep at all?" Jaehyun asked, eyeing her through his black lens prada sunnies that were successfully hiding his own eyebags

"I like bacon" she said tiredly as if she was already not aware of what was happening in reality

"Did you sleep?" Jaehyun asked once more, a little louder with his hand shaking her shoulder to get her attention. She blinked a few times and turned to him, squinting her eyes as her pupils adjusted to the light

"What did you say?" She asked tiredly and he sighed

"You should call in sick or go in later...can you even drive?" He asked with slight worry laced in his voice, noticing how quickly her eyes were starting to shut again

"Are you crazy? If I pull something like that again I'll get fired" she said, another yawn escaping her lips and Jaehyun sighed

"I'll give you a ride, you should sleep a little longer" he offered, more like ordered really, and she peeked her eyes open

"Why are you so worried?" She asked, a lazy smirk planting itself on her face as she thought of ways to tease him now like he always did with her

"I'm worried for Minhyuk incase you fall asleep at the wheel" he said, quickly covering it up and almost snickering at how her smirk fell

"Okay...thanks" she said, closing her eyes again until she heard the elevator ding. The four walked out of the elevator and into the car park, Minhyuk and Yunhui following Jaehyun like ducklings as he got to his car. And like always, he was a gentleman who opened the door for Yunhui first so she could continue to get some shut eye.

"The car seats are in your car, do you have your keys?" Jaehyun asked

"Pocket" she mumbled simply, not bothering to open her eyes again. Jaehyun sighed, reaching his hand into her coat pocket and feeling around for car keys until he fished it out.

"Kids, give me two seconds okay?" He said, walking across the basement to quickly get the two car seats for the kids before strapping them in.

"Daddy can I have the mic?" Jinah asked and Jaehyun sighed, looking through the rear view mirror to see a tired Minhyuk resting his head while his mother did the same in the passenger seat
