The king looked down as his children chased each other. Whether it was a fight for just play they were unsure though nonetheless it was nice to see them hanging out with each other even after all that had happened.
"Are you really stalking them again?" Able asked, sitting next to Arthur.
"What it's fun to watch." He smiled as Pearl tackled her husband who tried desperately to push her off.
"They don't seem to be getting along very well." He commented watching as the fight continued.
"You may think that... I think this is the happiest I've seen either of them in a long time." He commented as they ran around the garden. "HEY! Watch it you two, I don't want to pay for those damages." He yelled leaning over the ledge. The two both looked up at him. Pearl nodded before hitting her husband and running off he got up and chased after her rubbing his cheek.
"Yeah, very happy and loving..." They looked at Arthur who put another tally in a book. "What's that?"
"The days Pearl has been pregnant without them knowing."
"What-"
"It's obvious I mean look at the way she's acting. She's well aware that she's pregnant. I bet she's just waiting for him to notice her to say anything."
"...how can you tell exactly? Did you-..."
"What no ewww... i've known Pearl for years... marriage isn't enough to stop her from jumping off buildings... the only time she's ever this careful is when she's doing it for someone else and it sure aint my son." he shrugged.
"...ehh.. You know them best, I won't doubt your claim... the only question now is how long will it take for him to notice."
"So far it's been about a month that she should give birth soon... my best guess is that she's going to give birth and that's when he's going to notice... it seems that way at the moment." He shrugged.
"Wow.. imagine having a pregnant wife and not noticing until after she gave birth..."
"From the sounds of it he was raised by humans... so he would think it's a longer pregnancy.. Still he should have noticed how big she is getting... then again where he's from he probably thinks that people get to a healthy body weight that fast."
"Yeah.... I wouldn't put it against him... I was wondering why she started eating so much recently... She needs to take better care of herself. I should not be scared that she is eating every day..." The king signed, catching a slight glimpse of the two as they ran around.
"Should we be the ones who tell him?"
"And ruin the fun of watching the panic fall on his face as he thinks his wife has been pregnant for nine months while his wife gives birth?" He smiled and laughed. "Why would I ever do that?" He laughed, smiling at his kids who were fighting.. Though it was clear that she was careful.
