"What do you want?"

Elena?

I slowly came to, my ears opening to the sounds around me and my nose filling with the smell of dust. My hand ached. Rustling reached my ears.

"Please. I'm hurt." Yep, definitely Elena.

I slowly opened my eyes to see her lying on the other side of the couch I was laying on, staring wide-eyed in fear at a man (vampire) who was taking off the ropes that binded her. He stared hungrily at the blood stains on Elena's clothes.

"I know. Just a taste," he hissed, leaning in to bite her. I quickly jumped forward and pushed him back, where he went flying into the other wall.

"You okay?" I asked Elena, who was breathing hard. She nodded, her eyes on the vampire as he got to his feet. I stood in front of Elena protectively.

"You little bitch. You're supposed to be dead. How did you...do that?" he asked, dumbfounded as he realized I had used strength that only vampires and werewolves had.

I shrugged. "What can I say? I work out." I smirked at him.

His face transformed and he started to lunge at me, but a woman behind him halted him. "Trevor," she said, "Control yourself."

Trevor gritted his teeth and turned to look at the black haired, pixie-cut woman. She stared at Elena and I though, her eyes swirling with curiosity.

"Buzz kill," Trevor muttered, walking past the woman.

"What do you want with us?" Elena murmured, clutching the arm of the couch.

"My God you look just like her," the woman said, staring in awe at Elena. I sat beside Elena, a dizzy spell over-taking me. What did they inject me with?

"But I'm not. Please whatever you-" The woman cut off Elena's pleas. "Be quiet," she ordered.

Elena carried on, sitting up. "But I'm not Katherine!" She stood up. "My name is Elena Gilbert. You don't have to do this," She said, walking closer to the woman. She shouldn't get so close. We don't know who she is yet. I stood up, walking closer to Elena.

'"I know who you are, I said be quiet," the woman said, agitated.

"What do you want?" Elena asked quietly.

The woman back-handed her and Elena went flying back on the couch. "Hey!" I shouted, stepping forward, the woman pushed me back to. I was too weak to fight her as I fell to the floor.

"I want you to be quiet," The woman said.

Elena was unconscious as the woman walked away.

"Hey! Wait!" I called weakly, trying to get to my feet, but failing. The woman ignored me, walking off into another room.

My vision grew blurry and I laid back on the floor. Everything went dark.

"How's the girls?"

"Still passed out."

"You didn't touch them, did you?"

"Give me some credit."

I listened to the two vampires gibbering on about us as I sat useless in my chair. They had tied me to a steel chair that was bolted to the floor beside the couch Elena was on. I fought at my restraints once again, but I was too weak to break free. Elena was slowly coming to.

"Did you call him?"

"No, I called one of his contacts. You know how this works!"

"Look, did you or did you not get the message to Elijah?"
