"Zach! Stop!" I screamed, laughing hard.

"Why? It's so much fun." He said, tickling me harder.

We were in my room, lying on my bed. He was currently tickling me so hard I thought I would pee myself.

"You (gasp) better (gasp) stop!" I screamed, giggling.

He growled playfully, but stopped, rolling over so he was laying next to me. "Who woulda thought that the big, bad, vampire hunter would be ticklish." He said, playing with a strand of my hair.

"Say anything about it to anyone and I will kill you with a wooden spoon." I warned.

He laughed and wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear.

"I love you, too."

"What kind of name is Mystic Falls, anyway?" I asked May.

We were in the car driving to Mystic Falls. I was in the passenger seat, May was driving, and Zach was in the back, playing Angry Birds on his phone.

"It's like they're trying to tell everyone there is supernatural creatures living there." May agreed, rolling her eyes.

"Well, Lil can get rid of them and they can change the name to Lilville. Whatcha think Lilly-Rose?" Zach asked, his head popping up beside mine.

I didn't answer, just looked out the window.

"Come on, how long are you gonna stay pissed at me?" He whined.

"I'm going to start with eternity." I grumbled.

He sighed and went back to playing his game.

Suddenly, the car jerked to a hault.

"We're here!" May chirped.

We were parked in front of a log cabin in the middle of some woods.

"Whoa, I feel bad for you." I said, getting out of the car.

"Come on, it's not that bad." May said from behind me in the cabin.

"Oh, not this. I meant staying here with Zach. Just try not to kill yourself." I said.

May laughed.

I felt a presence behind me and turned around, only to be inches away from Zach.

"That hurt Lily-Rose. Although, I must agree with you. I would much rather it be you and me in this cabin." He said, winking at me.

I swallowed, trying to think of a witty come back.

Instead, I found myself falling into is sparkling, green eyes.

"Okay, time for a makeover." May said, pulling me away from Zach.

"Thank you." I whispered to her as she sat me on a stool facing away from a full-length mirror.

"No prob. Now, let's get started." She said, cracking her knuckles and her neck.

I laughed. She closed her eyes and grabbed my hand. She began to chant in a different language.

It was taking a while, so with my other hand, I pulled my phone from my pocket.

I started playing solitaire as May carried on with her witchy-voodoo thingy.

Then, my hand seemed to change a little, but not much.

May dropped my hand and sighed.

"Done." She said.

I stood up and turned around to face the full-length mirror.

I recognized the girl staring back at me as Elena Gilbert.

I had studied her picture last night.

She had long, straight brown hair and brown eyes.

She was very pretty.

"Now, remember to have a serious look on your face most of the time. This girl doesn't know how to lighten up." May said.

I nodded. "Well, see you later this week!" I said, then ran out the door using my enhanced speed.

I could run almost as fast as a vampire, so I left in a blur.

Following the directions I had memorized, I made it to what I assumed was the Salvatore Boarding House. It was huge and beautiful.

I stood outside the front door, listening.

I could hear the opening of a cabinet from inside.

Someone was home.

I took a deep breath and opened the door.
