Did the gods ever endure the suffering that humans did? And yet they are supposedly above us---and judge the fallen and the broken.

The room was dark, the dim light from the outside barely filtering through the heavy curtains of the guest room. Romani stirred in his sleep, his face tense as nightmares gripped him tightly. It was not just one figure---there were two, their forms blurry but absolutely menacing. He could feel their vengeful presence like a weight pressing down on his chest. They felt distant but powerful, familiar in a way that gnawed at his memory, yet just beyond recognition. The traveler strained to remember, but their faces were always just out of reach, their voices muffled like whispers carried on a wind from a time long forgotten.

Then, the scene shifted---flames licking at the sky, a battlefield strewn with bodies, the stench of burning flesh filling his nostrils. A white owl with piercing blue eyes hovered above the carnage, its gaze locked on him as if it could see right through to his soul. The weight of its stare was suffocating. Romani jolted awake, his breath coming in short, shallow gasps as he sat up in bed. His heart pounded in his chest, and he instinctively reached for his side where he had cast a warding spell earlier. But a cold chill ran down his spine as he realized something was wrong. Despite the protective spell he had cast---a talisman meant to alert him to any unusual activity---Galateya was nowhere to be found. His eyes scanned the dimly lit room, but it was empty. The child had disappeared without a trace. A soft but frantic voice echoed from downstairs, pulling him from his thoughts.

"Where is Saber? Where is Archer? And Shirou?!" Rin’s voice was sharp, panicked, and filled with a tension that only deepened Romani's dread.

Without wasting a moment, Romani sprang to his feet, the hem of his cloak swirling as he rushed toward the door and out into the hallway. His thoughts raced---how could Galateya have vanished without triggering the ward? Where could she have gone? And why were Saber, Shirou, and Archer also missing?

Descending the stairs quickly, he reached the bottom to find Rin pacing back and forth in the foyer. Her hands were clenched into fists, her brow furrowed in anxiety. She looked up as Romani approached, her eyes wide with fear and frustration.

“Romani!” she exclaimed, her voice trembling with desperation. “Have you seen Saber? Shirou and Archer are gone too, I---"

Her words faltered when she saw the troubled expression on Romani’s face. “She is gone too,” he said, his voice grim. “Galateya. I cast a ward earlier, but somehow she vanished without me sensing a thing.”

Rin’s eyes widened, her hand flying to her mouth as the full weight of the situation sank in. “No, this cannot be happening. We need to find them. All of them.”

Romani's mind was already racing, trying to piece together the fragments of his nightmare with the reality unfolding before them. And then, it hit him---that white owl. The strange creature had appeared more than once now, its piercing blue eyes and unsettling presence tied to Galateya in some way he could not yet fully understand. And then there was the conversation they had earlier about Ryuudou Temple. It was too much of a coincidence.
