Two weeks past since I heard from Effie.

Kylie's pov'

Brayden,Cane,Keisha and Diana show up at my place.

"Dude,Effie wants to meet up with you by the coffee shop at 4pm,You up for it or not?"They say with emotionless faces.

"I'll be there at 3pm"I respond immediately.

Before I could say another word they walk out me like I'm some piece of scrap.

My heart sinks in ,but I pull up and prepare for the link up.

It's now 4pm, and I spot Effie entering the Coffee shop,she looks way too cute,she curled her hair more, it's a bit darker and her slender shape is well displayed in the black dress she's wearing.

"Hi, Kylie sorry for ghosting you like that I really shouldn't have done that"Effie says with a calm tone.

"I'm the one at fault here, literally the worst. You know everything happened so fast I didn't mean to hurt your feelings that way"I reply.

Effie raises a brow.

I continue"I really like you Effie,but I guess the Slag in me has not died it's like I can't control myself even when I try"

Effie places her arm on Kylie's shoulder"You don't have to explain yourself, You told me you're a slag but I let myself fall for your charm, deep down I know you're a good person and you know you are".

She continues"Kylie I do cherish the moments we shared but before things get intense I have decided to go back to Barcelona, Thought of telling you before I left "

WHAT!NO EFFIE! "I exclaim while getting up from the table.

Tssss everyone is watching"she reminds me

"I mean you should leave me,Effie please I'll be a better person."I reassure her in a low tone.

"Kylie I'm sorry I have to go, I know you can be a better person,But not with me ,start afresh with Annie I heard she's your first love so ... I won't get in between and please I need space .By the way I too care for you."She says to me while getting up .

"Effie listen-"
She places her finger on my lips to stop me from saying a word and gives me a hug before walking out me.

Silence fills the Coffee shop as I stare at the spot I last saw Effie before she vanished.
My mind went blank,my heart sank my eyes teary .
Surely i deserve what just happened to me.

"Effie has gone,I totally messed up, totally screwed up this time"I cry to mom.

"You really liked,I can see that but yes you truly messed up"she says while hugging me.
She continues"Now stop sulking like powder from Arcane".

We chuckle a bit ,then get serious again.

"My dear, you really have to pull yourself together and become a better person for you and your future, including your relationships"She says to me while pating my shoulder.

Two days past and I got a grip on my self, I told Annie I want nothing to do with her seeing I developed feelings for Effie in this new chapter of life.

"Just smile and let the dice roll itself"Cane says from behind.

I turn and am I surprised to see thee Cane St James dressed in a black suit and a polished pointed shoe with a well ironed waistcoat.

"Damn!! someone looks prepared for a board meeting or something"I say amusing.

Oh please , it's a reunion a party hurry up and get dressed too!"he insists

I quickly pick my ironed grey Jacket and office pant with shiny lofers and finish up with a gents perfume.

"Our Father, Thank you for this day help us get started on a fresh start, and keep our feet from the enemies trap,we pray in the name of your son Jesus Christ Amen."
Cane and I pray before stepping out of our room.

"Awwwr,my babies are genuinely changing ,God bless you"Mom says in a sweet gentle voice while giving us quick mother-and-son hugs.
