It's now 4am,I step out of the Ritz with a wine bottle,into chilly London night. The rain-soaked streets were empty, safe for a few stragglers seeking refuge from downpour.

My head feeling heavy like last night,as I recall the ruckus I created yesterday,My heart sinks knowing I hurt Effie even more.
I walked aimlessly,My shoes splashing through puddles, until I found myself at the edge of Green Park.

The darkness enveloped me like shroud.
I collapsed onto a bench, letting the rain drench me.
As flashbacks of Effie's disappointed gaze came to my mind,Tears mingled with raindrops on my face.

"Why ,why did I cheat on Effie?
Why did I show her green flags, knowing I am a red flag not to mention a tycoon-slag ."I say to myself.

The questions swirled in my mind like the rainwater swirling down the drains.

The rain intensified, drumming against the pavement. My thoughts grew quieter,as if washed Clean by the storm.
Suddenly, I remembered a phrase Effie once whispered.

"Love isn't about being perfect;it's about being honest."

My gaze lifts to the rain-soaked sky.
"If I can't show Effie my love, I'll love her silently.
In the shadows, I'll watch over her
In the Silence, I'll hold her close.
Though she may never know,my love will be her constant companion."

Surely,Effie serves so much more than a man like me.
But I know this,My heart beats solely for her.

"Yoh?! Kylie !KYLIE!!"A familiar voice shouts from a distance.

I turn to face the direction of the voice and I'm sure that's Zak.
Though I'm not sober, that's definitely my brother.

He quickly storms out of his BMW4 and approaches me, enveloping me in a hug.

"Silly, you got me worried and you are comfortably sulking in the rain! what's wrong with you "He scolds with concern in his voice.

"Effie!"I reply my voice barely above a whisper.

"Bro come on,yes you screwed up but it's all in the past you're KYLIE SLADES. Get a grip on yourself and be a man.  Allow her to move on from the past you created."Zak speaks .

Hearts bonded by love be it expressed or hidden surely find a way to connect."He reassures me.

He continues"I know you like that girl more than you say it, you might not show it but I'm not blind I knew from the beginning that you two will some chemistry.But I can tell you something you can surely become a better person for yourself and the people around you not forgetting Effie."

As Zak concludes we start off ,all drenched regardless we enter the car and he drives back to hotel.

I take a shower,my mind still thinking about Effie.
"How on Earth did I even fall in love with that girl ,she wasn't even my type regardless the universe kept pushing her towards me, I'll paths crossed at church and just like that our fates connected."

Surely, the Universe sent her to me for a purpose."I think to myself.

"Kylie breakfast will get cold, I'm rushing out to attend another boardmeeting close by."Zak says while adjusting his tie.

Cane and I have our breakfast in total silence.

"Dude, what's wrong"I ask Cane.

We do just that and play Soccer,Car racing,NBA basketball...

It's now 11am and we are done playing around.

Cane says"Hmm, Dude I believe Zak will be back at 2pm surely we can go to a near by club and play pool it's been a minute"

The two of us decide to take an afternoon nap till he returns.
