THERE HE SAT. In his wheelchair by the window for the third day in a row. Allison sat on the bed watching him with sad eyes. She hated seeing her father figure like this. Upon feeling a presence behind them, she turns to look over her shoulder, spotting the brothers leaning against the door. Dean motioned her over.

She glanced back at Bobby who had not moved an inch before doing so. "Hey, honey," Allison greeted Dean, pecking his cheek gently before moving to the side of the door, crossing her arms over her chest. Her eyes landed back on Bobby. "What's it been like, three days now?" Dean questioned.

"Yup." Allison replied quietly, "We got to cheer him up," she looks over at the brothers.

"Maybe I'll give him a back rub." Dean says.

"Dean," Sam says, looking over at him standing across from Allison. "Well, what then?" Dean asks him. Sam licked his lips, feeling conflicted.

"Look . . ." Sam says, "We might have to wrap our heads around the idea that Bobby might not just bounce back this time."

Dean nor Allison were fond of the idea, whatsoever, but as the days go by, it was becoming a reality. Allison looks down and that's when she noticed the envelope in Dean's grasp, "What's in the envelope?"

"Went to radiology. Got a few glamour shots," he says and pulls out a X-ray picture, handing it over to Sam. Allison moved over looking at it as well. It was an x-ray of Dean's ribs. A soft gasp escaped her lips at all the symbols. "Let's just say the doctors were baffled." Dean added.

"Holy crap." Sam commented.

"Yeah, well, Cass carved you both one, too." Dean says. Suddenly, Sam's cellphone begins to ring. He hands the x-ray back to Dean and puts his phone up to his ear, "Hello? Castiel?"

"Speak of the devil." Allison whispered, her eyebrows slightly knitted as she and Dean both watched Sam. They weren't able to hear Castiel on the other line so they figured they'd put two and two together by Sam's responses. "Uh, St Martins Hospital . . . Why? Cass?"

Looking down the hall, they spotted the angel in a trench coat walk toward them. "Cellphone, Cass? Really? Since when do angels need to reach out and touch someone?" Dean questioned.

"You're hidden from angels now — all angels. I won't be able to simply —"

"Enough foreplay," Bobby spoke up from his spot by the window, "Get over here and lay your damn hands on." After no one made any moves, Bobby looks back at him, "Get healing — now."

"I can't." Castiel revealed.

Oh shit, Allison thought as she watched Bobby's jaw clench and turn himself around. "Say again?"
