One would think that out of the 100 or so days of summer, she'd get at least one (one!) good night's rest; but they'd be wrong. Celine sits on her bed trembling more than she'd ever done before. The clock on the bedside table reads 2:05 am. She knows she won't get another ounce of sleep, so she gets up.

She moves quietly about the room, changing into her clothes for the train ride and making sure not to wake Ginny. Once she's sure that all her belongings are ready for when they leave, she leaves the room and shrinks into her animagus form.

It's easier to move around the house this way, and if she gets caught, who will suspect a random cat of anything? Probably Sirius... so she'll just make sure to be extra careful around his door.

As she travels up the staircase, she can't help thinking that these dim walls and eerie decor will not be missed. It's reminiscent of some demented and twisted version of the Slytherin common room she loves so much. However, while the Black Lake shines hues of green and blue onto their upholstered furniture back at Hogwarts- the copious amounts of dust in the air coats everything here a gloomy grey. There's no life to be had in a place like this, even with Mrs. Weasleys endless cleaning tirade.

Celine makes her way to the uppermost level of the house, creeping quietly past Sirius's bedroom and over to a window at the end of the hall. Hopping up onto the windowsill, she nudges the glass open and steps out onto the cool concrete ledge. It's still dark out, the sun not even gracing the horizon. A bird chirps at her while she tries to angle herself to leap over to the next window.

Gracefully jumping onto the next ledge, Celine paws at the window to Regulus's room. Something about this room has been calling to her for the last month and despite the amount of time she's spent hiding in there, she hasn't been able to stop thinking about it. Now, on her last day at this house (hopefully forever), she finds herself unable to avoid sating her curiosity. She needs to know what's in that box.
