The early afternoon sunlight cast a warm glow as Kiyotaka made his way through Tokyo's winding streets. He had spent the past few days searching for something he hadn't realized he'd wanted for so long: a ring. It was the symbol of everything he felt for Suzune, everything he wanted their life together to be—a promise, a future, and a mark of the love they'd built, even if he wasn't always the best at expressing it with words. He had finally found the perfect ring earlier that day—a delicate, shimmering band set with a small, brilliant diamond. Suzune's style was understated yet refined, and this ring seemed to capture her essence perfectly.

By the time he arrived back at their home, he was both nervous and excited. Suzune had been busy that day, organizing their shared office space, so he knew she'd be surprised when he asked her to meet him outside on the balcony. She gave him a curious look as she stepped outside, looking stunning in the soft, golden light. Kiyotaka's heart raced as he took a deep breath, stepping forward and pulling the ring box from his pocket.

Suzune's eyes widened as she realized what was happening. "Kiyo...?"

He got down on one knee, meeting her gaze. "Suzune, you've been my closest friend, my partner, and the person I trust more than anyone. I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else. Will you marry me?"

For a moment, Suzune was silent, her hands covering her mouth in surprise, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. Finally, she nodded, a soft smile breaking through her shock. "Yes, Kiyo. A thousand times, yes."

He stood up, slipping the ring onto her finger, and Suzune threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly, her fingers digging gently into his back as if she never wanted to let go. Kiyotaka chuckled softly, resting his chin on her head.

After a while, he murmured, "Suzune, if you keep holding on this tightly, I won't be able to breathe."

But Suzune only held him tighter, looking up at him with a mischievous grin. "The ring means we're really together now. And it also means..." Her voice softened as she looked down, twirling the ring on her finger. "It means we could...you know...start thinking about a baby."

Kiyotaka laughed, meeting her hopeful gaze. "Not yet. We've got a lot to plan before we take that step."

She pouted, leaning her head against his shoulder, clearly not satisfied with his answer. "Fine, but I'm not letting you go," she teased, only half-joking as she continued holding on to him, her expression softening into one of pure happiness.

Realizing she wasn't about to let him go anytime soon, Kiyotaka gently untangled himself, giving her a playful look as he reached for a blanket and, with a smirk, gently wrapped it around her shoulders. "There, that should keep you cozy enough to let me go for a bit."

Suzune laughed, hugging the blanket tightly around herself. "You think you can escape just because you wrapped me up? I'll be waiting."

Kiyotaka chuckled, grateful for her humor and happy to know that she was as excited about their future as he was. He made his way to the bathroom, feeling a bit relieved to have a moment to himself. The day had been filled with excitement, and he was ready to unwind in a hot bath.

He had barely settled into the steaming water when he heard a quiet creak. His relaxation was short-lived as he glanced back, only to find Suzune stepping into the bathroom, her gaze locked on him with a sly smile.

"Suzune...did you need something?" he asked, his tone both surprised and amused.

She gave a shrug, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Just thought I'd give you a little company. You know, fiancé privileges and all."

Before he could protest, Suzune stepped behind him and began to gently massage his shoulders. Her touch was warm and firm, and Kiyotaka found himself relaxing despite the situation. She worked her way down his back, her fingers tracing over his muscles, and he let out a contented sigh.

"Enjoying it?" she whispered, her breath tickling his ear.

"Maybe," he admitted, a smile playing on his lips.

Her hands moved lower, gliding over his shoulders to his chest, tracing gentle circles with her thumbs. He could feel her lean in closer, her fingers tracing the outline of his abs, and he felt his face warm as she grew bolder with each touch. Her fingers hovered near his stomach, and he had a feeling she was pushing boundaries on purpose.

"Suzune..." he began, but she interrupted him with a soft laugh, her hands continuing their journey.

"Yes, Kiyo?" she asked innocently, though her teasing grin suggested otherwise.

Just as her hands started to drift lower, Kiyotaka caught her hands in his, his eyes meeting hers. "We're waiting, remember?"

Suzune gave him a mock pout, but the sparkle in her eyes showed she was enjoying herself. He leaned forward, giving her a soft kiss, then whispered, "Patience. We'll have our time soon enough."

She nodded, a gentle smile on her face as she settled beside him, content to sit close for a while longer. They stayed in the quiet warmth of the bath, simply enjoying each other's presence, already feeling like the future they had both longed for was finally within reach.
