School Life

So, I'm sorry that it's kinda be awhile. I kinda experienced burnout and writer's block at the same time which isn't fun. As well as suffered from the end of the quarter assessment so I will be taking a break

Idk when I'll be back but I am not abandoning this story or the marvel x genshin one either

Standing up straight, Kinich turned to face Ajaw who flew right into his face, "Can we leave now? These wimps are BORING."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, RUNT?" Bakugo, just like his personality and quirk, exploded at the insult. He reached out to release one in the teen's face when a gray scarf wrapped around his body, holding him in place. "What the... This cloth... It's STIFF!"

Everyone stared at their homeroom teacher, who was staring unblinking at the teen, "It's a 'capture weapon' made of carbon fibers and a special alloy wire. Geez. stop using your quirk already..."

His eyes were bloodshot and his hair was standing straight in the air, "I'm getting dry eye over here." After a few silent moments, Aizawa sighed and released his quirk and scarf, "What a waste of time. Prepare for the next event"

Like a spell was broken, immediately the students erupted in quiet chatter

"What the hell was that..."

"Man, I wanted to see that fight"

"His quirk is literally overpowered"

"Tokoyami, Tokoyami! Do you think I can do that later?"

Shaking his head at the chatting students, Aizawa turned to Kinich and Ajaw and pointed at the three saurians, still at his feet  and still watching Cocomelon on Ajaw's phone. The pair nodded and walked over to their teacher and saurian children

As Bijou raised his head away from the phone and towards them, his siblings, Darya and Calix, were already running toward Ajaw. Kinich stopped in front of Aizawa and felt a hand ruffle his hair. Looking up in confusion, Kinich saw a small smile on his face, "You did good today. You can leave first if you want, just find Yamada"

He gave a small nod to signal he understood and Aizawa just sighed and gave Kinich's hair a final ruffle. Removing his hand from his hair, the sleep-deprived hero turned to face the other students now staring at them, "Midoriya, step up to throw"

Noticing Kinich looking back at him, Ajaw stopped playing with their kids and scooped up Darya and Bijou into his arms. Using his tail, he pushed Calix in Kinich's direction and arms. All done with their exam and with the saurians in their arms, the two teens turned and walked back to the school building

After finding Mic, they drove back home

The following days followed a routine. Other than the hero courses, UA highschool was like any normal high school. In the morning were the usual classes, such as English and math; however, these were boring for our two outworlders.

During these classes, Ajaw didn't bother showing up for any of them except English. Afterall, it wouldn't be good to get his little family expelled from their lodging for disrespect to their hosts. He would mostly spend his periods all over the campus, entertaining the whelps as Kinich dutifully took their classes

At lunch, they would reunite at the cafeteria and buy food with Aizawa's credit card. At first, Kinich was worried about spending too much until Mic reassured them that getting food for all five of them in the cafeteria was equal to an actual meal for one in the city

Then in the afternoon, when Aizawa could keep the whelps busy, both Ajaw and Kinich would attend basic hero training. However, this afternoon was special.

"I HAVE..." the sounds of heavy footsteps echoed through the hall and into the open classroom, "COME THROUGH THE DOOR, LIKE NORMAL!!" and the top heroe, Allmight swing inside.

Kinich was seated near the back of the classroom with Ajaw sleeping away on his head in his tiny pixel form. At the hero's yell, Ajaw gave a snort and raised a pixelated hand to rub away the sleep from his eyes. In a hoarse voice, he hissed into Kinich's ear, "He's still too fucking loud..." However, only Kinich heard his comment, for their classmates erupted into excited chatter.

"It's Allmight...!! He's REALLY gonna teach us...!!"

"That's his silver age costume...! He's drawn so different;y than the rest of us (I never realized the og manga broke the fourth wall lol). It gives my goosebumps..."

Striking a pose in the front of the class, Allmight continued to yell at the top of his lungs, "BASIC HERO TRAINING! THE CLASS THAT'LL PUT YOU THROUGH ALL SORTS OF SPECIAL TRAINING TO MOLD YOU INTO HEROES!!" and under his breath he added, "it also gives a ton of credits"

Pulling out a card with the word 'BATTLE' in fancy font,the hero somehow managed to yell even louder, which Kinich didn't think was possible, "NO TIME TO DALLY. TODAY'S ACTIVITY IS THIS!! BATTLE TRAINING"

Ajaw noticed a creepy smile appear on Bakugo's face, "Battle..."
"...TRAINING...!" Midoriya finished as his eyes lit up with stars

"AND FOR THAT... YOU NEED THESE!!" Allmight clicked a small button in his hand and Kinich heard a click come from the wall to his right. Apparently, he wasn't the only one as all the students turned to the wall. They watched as columns with five shelves each appeared with a rumble

"In accordance with the 'quirk registry' and the special request forms you filled out before being admitted..." Kinich and Ajaw vaguely remembered Mic  asking for specifics on his abilities after the entrance exam. Guess that's why he asked then...

"COSTUMES!!" a cheer rose out of his classmates as they jumped out of their chairs in excitement, "AFTER YOU CHANGE, COME OUT IN RANKING ORDER TO GROUND BETA!!"

"OKAY!!"

"LOOKING GOOD IS VERY IMPORTANT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! LOOK ALIVE NOW!! BECAUSE FROM TODAY ON YOU'RE HEROES!!"

Standing outside in his new outfit, Kinich stood first in line. It was similar to his normal Natlanian outfit in design but with light modifications for safety. His boots were upgraded and were now steel toed while his chestplate's material was switched with the same fabric that Aizawa's scarf, allowing for extra protection without limiting mobility. However, there was only one thing that was completely new.

A pure black metal mask with a pixelated orange 'x' on the left side, matching Ajaw's when he was in his pixel form. The small detail pleased the pair, showing how much their current guardians cared

"HAHA! Those mortals have now been approved by this lord!" Ajaw floated around Kinich, admiring and ranting about the handiwork as they waited for the last of their class to arrive. Finally, when Midoriya came out, Allmight began to speak again as he gave the class a beaming smile

"WELL!! SHALL WE BEGIN, MY WARDS?!"
