The burn beneath your fingers

"Hey Louis, sorry to bother you I was just coming to check in and see how you were doing." Jesus this man couldn't get any more perfect. "Hi, Harry, you're not bothering me at all. I'm doing ok what about you?" Louis was blushing so hard, and all Harry could do was smile at him. "I'm ok" Harry very obviously lied but Louis didn't bring any attention to it. " Are we still up for lunch?" Louis nodded. " Alright then, let's go" Harry smirked.

Harry walked towards Louis and grabbed his hand to help him up. He felt butterflies roam throughout his body as Harry's hand touched his. Louis stood up and they started walking. "Where do you want to eat at?" Harry smiled at Louis' question. " We could go to the Indian place down the street?" "Yeah, sounds good, also I'm paying." Harry turned around to look at him.

"You don't have to do that; we can split the bill." Harry said almost immediately. "Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure Lou" Louis blushed at the nickname. He was falling for Harry, and they had only known each other for a day. Louis really needed to stop crushing on him. He didn't even know if the boy was into guys for god's sake.

They soon arrived at "The Red Fort" and got seated at their table. Louis wanted to get to know Harry better, so he started asking him questions. "So uhm what kind of things do you like doing?" Harry smiled, happy that Louis was starting the conversation and not him.

 "I don't really do much to be honest. Work is the only time I get out of the house, and I usually just sit at home on my days off and draw." Harry hoped louis couldn't see past his little white lie and thankfully he couldn't. "What about you?"

"I also like drawing, and I like to sing." Harry was a little surprised and was about to ask him questions when the waiter came to take their order. Harry ordered a salad, and Louis ordered the butter chicken with a side of oysters.

"Will that be all for you two?" Harry quickly responded, "yes that's all, what about you Louis?" "Yeah, that's all for me as well. are you sure that's all you want Harry?" Louis asked concerned. Harry replied with a quick "yeah" and Louis dropped the subject.

whilst they were waiting, they talked about everything and nothing. Louis ended up inviting Harry to hang out with him and his friends Zayn and Niall next weekend and Harry said yes even though he had really bad social anxiety and got nervous easily around new people.

 After their food arrived, they started eating. And by eating, I mean Louis shoving his face with food while Harry just kind of picked at his plate and only took a couple of bites. Louis decided to not bring it up because he didn't want to make Harry feel uncomfortable or awkward.

After they finished eating, they exchanged numbers then they went back to work. Both of them met with two more clients each then went home around 6pm.
