Karina and SJ drove to her parents' house for a special occasion, Min's birthday. The atmosphere was festive, filled with anticipation and love, as the couple shared excited glances, grateful for the chance to celebrate with family.

As they arrived, Karina felt a rush of warmth. Her parents' home was decorated with colorful balloons and streamers, a testament to her mother Yuji's festive spirit. The scent of freshly baked goods wafted through the air, making her stomach rumble in delight.

"Ready?" SJ asked, his hand gently squeezing hers.

Karina nodded, her heart fluttering. "I am. It's a big day for my dad."

They stepped inside, greeted by the joyous sounds of laughter and chatter. Min turned to them, a broad smile lighting up his face. "There they are! Our favorite couple!" he exclaimed, pulling them both into a warm embrace.

"Happy birthday, Dad!" Karina said, stepping back to admire her father, who looked as vibrant as ever.

"Thank you, sweetheart. It's a pleasure to have you both here to celebrate," Min replied, his eyes twinkling with joy.

Yuji appeared from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a towel. "Look at you two! So happy together! We're proud of you both," she said, wrapping her arms around them. "Now, come help us with the final touches for dinner!"

As they settled in, the atmosphere felt light and welcoming. The table was beautifully set, and a feast awaited them. Over the course of dinner, they shared stories and laughter, and Min expressed his pride in Karina's artistic achievements and SJ's dedication to his photography.

"I've seen you both grow, not just in your careers but as a couple," Min said, raising his glass. "To love, to growth, and to always supporting one another!"

Karina's heart swelled with emotion. She looked at SJ, who smiled back at her, his eyes filled with admiration.

After dinner, Yuji brought out a beautifully decorated cake. "Make a wish, Min!" she said, placing the cake in front of him.

As Min closed his eyes and blew out the candles, everyone cheered. "I wish for your happiness, my dear Karina and SJ," he said, opening his eyes and grinning at them.

Once the cake was served and laughter filled the air. Min and Yuji shared stories of their own relationship, offering wisdom on love and commitment. They emphasized the importance of facing challenges together and maintaining open communication, words that resonated deeply with Karina and SJ.

"What about you two? What's next on your horizon?" he inquired, genuinely interested.

Karina glanced at SJ, her heart racing at the thought of sharing their dreams. "We've talked about collaborating on projects that combine our art and photography," she said, her excitement palpable.

SJ chimed in, "We feel that it will help us grow, both individually and as a couple."

Yuji's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. "That sounds beautiful! Collaborating together can really strengthen your bond. Just make sure to keep each other grounded."

Karina laughed, "We promise to always keep each other in check!"

As the night came to a close, Karina felt a deep sense of gratitude wash over her. Her parents' support, combined with SJ's unwavering belief in her, filled her with hope and excitement for what lay ahead.

"Thank you for tonight. It was perfect," SJ said quietly as they walked to the car.

Karina smiled, feeling the warmth of his words. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. It means a lot to me that you're a part of my family."
