June 10th , 1987
I laid on a pool floaty as my bestfriend cher argued with her sister Regina, I met cher in first grade at cheer camp and we've been bestfriends since .
she's always lived in Beverly Hills but our families take trips together all the time that's the one reason why I was kinda happy to move here .
" babe ! what a surprise! I missed you so much!"
I look over to see Cher run to her boyfriend and lyle ? I lean up and grab Regina's arm to make her floaty come closer to mine.
"I didn't know Chers boyfriend knew Lyle"
"Oh yeah hmmm maybe a double date? "
"Shut up"
"I'm serious who knows maybe a triple date Im sure they have some hot friends around somewhere "
"Hey Dionne" I see Lyle waving from by the pool.
"Hi lyle" I wave back smiling i notice lyle standing at the pool but not getting in and I remembered he doesn't like pools.
I look over and see Cher & Ed making out .
"Gross" Regina says getting out of the pool I follow behind to catch up to lyle.
" I didn't know you knew Chers boyfriend"
" I didn't know you knew Cher"
"Since cheer camp we've been best friends since we were like 6 "
" cool so I guess we'll be seeing a lot of
eachother" he says sarcastically I roll my eyes and laugh
"We already see a lot of eachother were neighbors"
"Oh so Cher's your bestfriend and I'm just a neighbor?"
"Oh you wanna be best friends too ? I thought Ed was your friend "
"He's not that fun" I laugh as we both look at Ed and Regina paying no attention to us .
"Let's get outta here "
"And ditch your friend? "
"Didn't we just decide he's not fun & we're friends now "?
I laugh and we both run to his car .
"Dammit I forgot my clothes" he starts laughing at me as he puts his seatbelt on.
" we're not friends anymore " I pout.
"Oh don't be a crybaby we can just go back and get them"
"No cause if they see us they'll want us to stay"
"Oh so you do wanna be friends? Since you wanna stay with me "
" shut up" I pout again , he laughs
"here wear my shirt "
he hands me a shirt from his backseat I put it on and it's big on me so I don't need pants anyway.
I fall asleep for a minute and wake up to see sand & water .
"Where are we lyle "?
"The beach"
"It's beautiful!!! " I unbuckle & jump out of the car and grab lyles hand as he closes the driver door we run to the water & look out .
